I was seen by HRSATL on Dec 19th. Prior to my procedure I was given a consultation and quoted $7,000 dollars. I paid $1,000 almost a year before my procedure in order to save the special rate they were giving me for a ***** fue graft procedure. They told me someone who specializes in African American hair will perform my procedure. I will leave her name out. The day of my procedure they made me pay the remaining $6,000 dollars up front. I paid and after that i was sent into the procedure room. I was not told that the technician performing my procedure would be different than the one promised. Had i known this i wouldnt have paid them and i would have left. Before starting the doctor gave me versed injection and valium. A male technician performed my procedure, who seemed very inexperienced. During the procedure the surgeon left for long periods of time. After the procedure I noticed that the amount of grafts taken were not nearly **** as promised. I asked them the number of grafts that were taken and they cannot tell me. Its been a month and they still do not know because the surgeon did not count and document the amount taken. Till this day I have been calling them every day and asking them how many grafts and if i can see surgical notes but there were no notes taken at all and the grafts werent counted. They came up with an amount of $2500 refund for the grafts that were not taken out. They continue to prolong and postpone my refund. Telling me that if my refund is not made by January 31 it will have to be made next month. But they are the ones postponing it.Business response

Good afternoon,
I have attached documentation. He received **** grafts so 500 short. Per his contract we gave him a discounted price, the regular cost is $7/graft, but we gave him $5 for the first **** then $2/graft. We refunded him $3,500 so 500 x $7. We gave him more back than the discounted price. He also signed a release which I have attached.

I had Hair Transplant performed by HRS Atlanta on Feb 16th, 2019. I was suggested to get **** grafts, and opted for the *** procedure. I was promised that I would see considerable hair growth in 18 months. Soon after the surgery, I noticed a lot of hair loss and they told me that it's common, and all the hair would grow back eventually. To minimize hair loss, they suggested free laser sessions. I had many sessions, but it didn't help with the hair growth. In May 2019, they suggested that I also take PRP sessions. I expressed my disappointment but was told to wait until Aug 2020 to see the full results. After 2 and 1/2 years since my transplant, and I still did not see any hair growth. In Aug 2021, I met with the director, and he would not acknowledge that the surgery was unsuccessful. I dared him to post my before and after pics, or refund the money. He refused to do either. So I am contacting you to help receive a full refund of my surgery and PRP expenses totaling $7995. Thanks.Business response

Thanks for the update on my complaint.
I did get a letter from HRS. The letter contained a non-disclosure form that HRS wanted me to sign in order for them to refund me my amount. Moreover, they have not stated what the total refund amount is, and mentioned that it would take them several weeks to refund.
I would like the full refund as mentioned in my complaint without having to sign any form. I also need a specific date by when the amount would be refunded, and I need a single payment made to me.
That's the resolution I would like for my complaint. Thanks.Business response

We are prepared to issue a full refund of all monies paid once we have a signed release from the client. The refund will be issued to the client within 24 hours of receiving a signed release.Customer response

Thanks for the response. I no longer have the form that HRS sent me earlier and I would need a new one from them. For me to sign their form. I need a letter duly signed by HRS Atlanta containing the following details - the total refund amount, the mode of payment of the refund, and the time by which the payment will be made (24 hours upon receipt). The letter should also mention the next step that they would agree to if the payment is not made in 24 hours after the receipt of the form. If the form covers all the above details, I will sign the form from HRS and return it to them.Business response

The release has been resent via email (it is attached here as well). Once the document is signed and returned, a full refund will be issued.

The release enclosed does not state the full amount that would be refunded to me. I require HRS Atlanta to clearly state in the release document the amount that would be refunded to me, and the time within which it would be refunded.

Better Business Bureau:
HRS Atlanta has sent me a revised form mentioning the total refund amount in it in December of 2021. I have signed the form and sent it back to them on December 16, 2021.In the form HRS Atlanta mentioned that they would refund me the total amount in 30 days after I send them the signed form and close this case. I agree to closing this case and hopefully will receive my amount in 30 days after closing this case.

Soon after the surgery, I noticed a lot of hair loss and they told me that it's common, and all the hair would grow back eventually. I went to the HRS office in Feb. 2020 Feb, they said, I lost other hair and not the one they inserted. They recommended doing one more operation of **** grafts using the *** procedure which I did on the same day.It is worse than before 2018. I tried to contact HRS multiple times but they are not picking my phone or responding to my Voice messages So I am contacting you to help receive a full refund of my surgery totaling $10,000.Business response

They sent me a form to sign (full release agreement) which they did not even mention that are going to return money. That form indicates that I can't do any further claims against hrs but there is no mention of refund money in that form. I have called multiple times that I will sign form in the office when I get refund check but there is no response from the hrs.
