On October 6, 2023 I booked an appointment on ****** with Loc City Natural Hair Studio for October 9th and paid a prepayment of $37.50. I realized I booked the wrong day and immediately canceled. I checked the *** page for ****** regarding refunds of prepayments and it said it will take 2-5 business days to receive a refund and to contact the business. I reached out to the business on October 13th and spoke with *************************** on the phone regarding the refund. She asked if I had canceled at least one day before the appointment and I said yes. She then said she hadnt seen anything regarding my booking and that I need to reach out to ****** to receive a refund. I reached out to ****** via email and spoke with ******* on October 13th and they informed me that ****** does not hold or manage any payments and to reach out to the business.I then text ******* on October 13th with screenshots of my email with ****** and she claimed ****** should refund me. I sent her a quote from the email sharing that they do not issue refunds the business does and she proceed to get defensive saying she didnt book me so she doesnt have anything to do with it ****** does. I then shared with her again that ****** claims they dont hold money and she then got upset and told me I need to handle it with them. She then said that she never saw the booking and they will give me a refund. I then sent her a screenshot of ****** saying they dont issue refunds. She then claimed it hadnt been 2-5 business days and that I need to call ****** on Monday to talk with them.I then asked if she could also call to see what they would tell her from a business prospective and she agreed. Today Monday October 16th she sent me a screen shot of messages she had with ****** where they told her that they do not issue refunds she would have to.She then said she will not refund me since she wasnt aware of the issue before I reached out to her.Business response

This client booked on a date I was in ******* ** working for the week and had no knowledge of what had happened. It wasnt until later the next week she reached out to me asking me to send her **** to replace the money she lost during the transaction. I did enform her I do not do refunds and she shouldve read my policy and rules and to take the issue up with ******. She got upset and I blocked her from calling me. Again I had no knowledge of what happened until I guess a week later! And again I didnt know she had booked until I checked and saw she canceled the appointment. I do not know if she received a refund or not because ****** usually refund if its allowed.
