On 05/03/23 i put in a work order. Lights not working. My bedroom was without power (off and on for sometimes minutes or hours at a time) for nearly a week. This order was serviced on 05/08/23. They told me nothing was wrong, and that i should remove my LED bulbs. The power was off again within 2 hrs of their visit. I tried what they had *************** power was off again within 3 hours. Again, all of this happening only in a single room in the house. I place another work order the following day, 05/09/23 order#: *******. I called them after placing this order to make sure there was no misunderstanding: my room does not have power. It has been a week. The issue has not been resolved. I would like it to be fixed ASAP. I'm told I will recieve a call from their scheduling department. A few hours later i try to call the scheduling department myself when I'm put on the line with the same person as before. She says "they've been sent the work order and will call you when they would like to schedule an appointment." I was told this the first time as well; a different person had told me this and i had to call back the next day, just to get a text (SENT TO MY ROOMMATE, NOT ME) about scheduling an appointment. The lack of urgency regarding utilities they are expected to provide, and that i cannot fix on my own (the electric company MTE providing our services cannot help because our account is through ***** is frankly, disgusting. If this is because my lease is about to end, or the lack of urgency being related to a single room being out of power and not the full house, is irrelevant. I could need a breathing machine at night to sleep, I could have pets that require a lamp to live. If I were anyone else with medical issues or something greater, this would be a lawsuit, and my lawyer is already considering legal action. Why tell renters to call if utilities are compromised if youre not going to do anything to fix it?Business response
