The people at Wyndham say these La Quinta Inns are franchises and that it is up to the franchisee to take care of returning deposits, which means you get no help from the main company. At this La Quinta location they try to keep your deposit. I have called them 4 or 5 times about returning this money. They give the same excuse that it takes 10 days and that it depends on your bank. These are just nonsense excuses to make you wait and hopefull forget about your deposit. There is no reason for them to be keeping my deposit. They say it is automatically retuned but this is obviously a lie. The room was prepaid. This deposit was a separate transaction when i checked-in so they would have to manually reimburse this These people are liars and fraudulently holding on to my deposit.
