      I booked a two bedroom suite for my Birthday from Dec ***** 2023 which I checked in the night of my Birthday approximately 7:50 pm. I had prepared my food and brought it with me because I eat alkaline vegan and I dont have much in the way of options as far as restaurants are concerned. I spent all night and day cooking and preparing for my 3 day recharge retreat a staycation in the downtown area. I checked in a preceded to my room on ************** with my large suitcase and pulling my shopping cart full of food and water for my stay. As I got to the room it was dirty and trashed I looked around in total disbelief and disgust as to what I was seeing. I then began to video tape my experience so I can show it to the front desk personnel when I approached the desk with all my belongings in tow I showed the young lady my video and her response was oh the room wasnt cleaned. I ask if I can speak to the manager and she began to tell me the manger wasnt on the premises here his business card when I call the number it said user busy in other words a non working number as it was Christmas Eve. The front desk personnel then told me to take a seat and she would go check on another room. after several minutes she came back to the desk and then offer me the second room there I go once again with all my belongings up to the 17th this time as I entered the room for my inspection the see the microwave all busted up and the top of the range lifted up and raggedy I tried to cut on the oven and it did I not work I turned around and went to the front desk and kindly asked to a cancellation and refund of my money immediately after my cancellation request I left the premises and went back home with no birthday retreat or relaxation I only got a call from the manager after making a complaint via text the next day asking how is my stay while I was sitting in the movies watching The Color Purple.

      This hotel is double booking residents and then charging a cancellation fee. I have noticed when checking on my hotel itinerary that Georgian Terrace are bookings multiple rooms. When I called to address this situation the hotel told that they cannot send cancellation details and I must write them down. To be clear, this hotel is double booking residents and charging a cancellation fee for said extra rooms not booked by guest. A

      ********************** called to cancel his reservation as he was accusing the hotel of identity theft for asking him for a credit card in order to secure his reservation. ********************** was explained that this is our policy in order to hold the reservation. Once ********************** continued to state that he felt un easy disclosing his information, I agreed that we can cancel his reservation free of charges. The supporting cancellation number and proof that no charges were settled to his statement is attached.
