purchased an Almond Cow drink maker in Nov ************************************************* March 2021. The replacement top stopped working in early March of this year and have been told that I need to purchase a new top; however, the original and replacement tops stopped working, even though I take special care in cleansing and strongly believe sensitive areas should not be exposed to the environment if this is what makes the drink maker function.I take extra precautions on not getting the outside of the top wet and explained this to representative. I believe the entire tops design is flawed because the inside part of the top needs to be cleaned, while the outside of the top has openings in the side that are delicate, yet exposed to the environment. Since the small openings on the sides are very sensitive and affect the functionality and operations of the drink maker, it should be manufactured in a way that it is better protected.However, I do take extra precautions and do not expose the openings to water, especially because of the drink makers significance to me personally in preferences of a healthy diet and also because of the cost of $245, was already outside of my budget as a college student.I am being informed that I need to pay $90 for replacement; however, it stopped working on its own, even with me taking extra precautions and following the cleaning instructions that came with the drink maker. I wish for a refund of the product because the tops are not well protected and there is no guarantee that the next top would work properly and stop functioning within a short period of time.I am seeking your assistance please in communicating my concerns with Almond Cow.
