I would like to express my level of anger and disappointment in their services. My daughter was referred to them from a hospital back in October. Her first intake with was on October 12th. Her second intake (for medication management) was scheduled for November 1st, however, it had to be canceled for personal reasons. I was told that she would be placed on the waiting list. I have been calling to see if there was a cancellation to get her seen. I called again on December 6th, because now my daughter is out of her medication. I received a phone call back from a very rude man. I was told that the reason my daughter could not get an appointment, was because, her insurance would not approve the appointment. Why did it take a whole month for your organization to make me aware of this? I could have come up with an alternative. This is very unprofessional. My daughter deserves better.Business response

Hello, the original email appears to be junk or spam, did anyone contact the office or send a certified letter? The above individual was originally on the waiting list to see the doctor due to our backlog and this was explained to the patient at the time of intake. The patient missed their appointment and ultimately place them at the end of the list. The Progress Place is insurance operated and the patient insurance changed on the 1st of November, the new insurance panel is not accepted at The Progress Place and was explained to the patient. The Progress Place encourage the patient to visit her Primary doctor and also provided 2 resources for referrals. The Progress Place demands for this complaint to be null and void. Thanks
