an INCOMPETENT, UNPROFESSIONAL and quite frankly FRAUDULENT entity.
When I went to this dealership, it was because the dealership specializes in Infiniti. I expected proper skills, professionalism and reliability. Instead I have experienced completely the opposite.
I had purchased a new 2020 Infiniti QX60 and paid cash which included my state sales tax, title, tag and registration fees. I had provided my state farm insurance info as well. I was told that my documents and materials will be mailed to me within the next 2 weeks.
On exit I noticed they did not detail the vehicle properly, When I pointed out about the debris under the rear spoiler they simply claimed that it was good enough and that they couldn't do anything else because it was too late for the day and was pushing me out the door. But they didn't mind luring me to a service agreement with them for another hour or so.
I was told if I wanted to get the proper details done I had to leave the car and come back another day after knowing the fact that I live over 200 miles away in South Carolina. Once the check was cashed I had no value to them other than pursuing a quick excellent review right away.
I found an odometer showing several hundred miles although they noted 5 miles on the document. it was from multiple test drives I was told (!)
Over the next several days they repeatedly called me, sent me texts and messages to give them excellent reviews 5/5 via voicemail and in writing using a link through Facebook, which I did not think they deserved even before all these happened, However, I did not receive or heard anything from them about my vehicle registration over the next 4 weeks. So I sent them several messages to enquire about my tag since no one would answer the phone or return calls..
I waited for another 2 weeks and tried to contact them but I couldn't get anyone on the phone except the operator. My voice messages were not returned. In the meantime my temporary plate expired and I desperately tried to reach someone. Eventually I reached out to a new car sales agent and begged for help. He did mention that the title clerk moved to another building and probably didn't bother to check messages. He agreed to pass my message but he made sure to
let me know bluntly that he had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Eventually I received a missed call and a voice message which was 100% music and no word was said. So I couldn't even figure out who that alien was. I tried to call back but only got the voice message which only says he was *** and was not available but it didn't even mention which dungeon he belongs to. Out of everything the only good thing was that he called back simply to tell me to go to my local DMV and get the plate MYSELF. Because South Carolina does not mail the license plate and I must pick it up from the DMV, which is a FAT LIE.
He refused to be bothered by anything else. He didn't know why his inept staff took the money but didn't do their job or why they were negligent about informing me timely that I myself have to register the vehicle. He refused to provide me with the info about what happened to the sales tax and other fees that they took from me on the day of purchase. He refused to tell me what proof I would present to the local DMV about my payment of sales Tax or anything whatsoever.
*** neither had the gut to transfer me to his superior nor showed any sense of moral obligation to return $144 for failing to perform this service. They must have gotten used to ripping the weak and vulnerable even at the level of dimes. Rather than having remorse for what just happened he had the audacity to tell me that it was up to me to get the license plate from the SC DMV and hung up.
So I am here with my vehicle with an expired temporary plate despite paying all the necessary fees as well as added service fees to this outlet and, for that I am seeking help from BBB.
I sincerely hope no one after me has to go through this hell by initiating any business deal with this dealership. ***
