I got my dress made by ***** from Solo Stylz for my friends wedding. I paid in full for the dress in March but we did not get the dress until August less than 5 days ahead of the wedding. I never saw the dress until the Tuesday prior to the wedding. It came by mail in an Amazon bag with no hanger or dress bag so that we could try it to make sure nothing major needed to be done. It did not look like the picture my friend sent. The color was off and it was defective. My dress did initially fit but after getting the sleeves cut, the bulge in the back adjusted, the band was supposed to be attached better and the cups taken out it was then to tight. My dress also had a stain one she got out when I pointed it out at pickup. I didn't notice the others until later in which I think it was damaged by the iron that she used to press it. I was unable to get those out. On the day of the wedding she advised she left a tool so we could adjust the band on the dress ourselves. I was not told that I would need to alter my own dress upfront or get stains out. I would have went to a *****'s Bridal or somewhere else to spend my $175.00 to get a better product and service. I didn't want to ruin my friend's day so I had to roll with it or not have a dress (the maid of honor). I'm not complaining about the color really or the style because if my friend was okay with it then what can I say. However, the quality of this dress was horrible and just thrown together. I'm not the only bridesmaid that had issues either. It seemed to be all the *********** at least the dresses made by Solo Stylez. I did speak with the owner and I disputed it via PayPal but I got no resolution. PayPal advised they could only cover an item as not described and that was my reason so I don't know why my claim was denied. I am only asking for a portion on my funds back ****** since I still had to use the dress. I also don't mind sending the dress back if she would like to have it. Thanks in advance!
