This company preys upon visitors from out of town/state. My car was booted for no reason. The parking lot attendant claimed I parked my car and left the area. However, when I requested to view the footage they claimed showed me leaving the area, there was no footage to substantiate their claim. She refused ( parking lot attendant) to remove boot unless I paid $75. I was Informed that this is a racket that the city of ****** is concerned about. I even asked for the Managers name, and was given no information. This company is deceptive, corrupt and fraudulent. They extort money from innocent people who have no recourse especially individuals from out of town. They are a part of a large racket racketeering.Review from Betty H

I needed to go to four stores, the first two across the street from EPS Parking and the last two at EPS Parking. Due to construction across the street, I was able to find parking space that wasn't two far away for the first two stores, but with 30 minute only parking allowed. Being a senior citizen, I did not want to have to walk too far due to the heat, to gain entrance into them. So, I decided to park in the parking lot where TJ Maxx and Whole Foods were located (EPS Parking lot), cross the street to the other stores, spend a few minutes in each store to take a photo of something I saw on the net, and come back to TJ Maxx and Whole Foods. When I returned to my car from Whole Foods, to my surprise it was booted. I thought it was a mistake. When, I called to inquire about it, it was not in the system yet. (I spent approximately one hour combined in all four stores, most time at Whole Foods). I had to call the number for a representative to give all my credit card information. As much as I go to TJ Maxx, Whole Foods and *********** I never noticed the *** Parking warning signs. I had to look for them after I was booted. Please, for your patrons (especially during days of extreme weather) be reasonable. Make the warning signs more visible like they do across the street; or, allow 30 minute complimentary parking as they do across the street; or, ask the patron for proof of purchase from a store there that the parking lot accommodates, (especially Whole Foods because there could be perishable food involved, as was my case). There are those like me who follow parking lot rules. I had no problem at all seeing the parking lot warning signs across the street and adhered to them. I shop at Whole Foods, T J Maxx and ********** frequently and never noticed the signs until I was booted. I am a patron of those stores but feel like a victim of a gotcha from *** Parking. I paid a $75 penalty from my monthly bill money for a crime I did not know I was committing.Review from Shanna F

Scammers, will boot you even while you are still on property, their website has a fake email for disputes. It looks like they don't even have a business license I think? They need to be s*** down.Review from Keshav G

This company needs to be reported. They use poorly worded signs (multiple), record and spy on people moving in the parking lot and extract 75$ parking ticket from customers who feel victimized by this treatment. They also threaten people trying to reason with them and bully them by booting and locking the car down leaving them helpless and at their mercy. Just when I was there I must have seen atleast 20 people in the parking lot at 10pm having this issues. If the signs were clear as they claim all of us would not make the same mistake. The ***************** (commercial center) is right opposite the street. People who want to shop in the strip and grab a bit if unaware are the primary victims. They record you and nail you as soon as you step out of the parking lot.I hope the BBB can take this complaint seriously. You can see the ****** reviews (more than 256 people all with the same issues). I even called the police to report this but they did not feel this was life threatening to react. I suspect that the local city authorities are also aware - I hope they are not mixed up in this fraudulent business scheme with this company. My ************ ******* post signs that THIS IS NOT A PARKING LOT FOR *****************. - POST THAT THERE WILL BE A &75$ FINE and WE ARE ACTIVELY RECORDING PEOPLE's MOVEMENTS IN AND OUT OF THE PARKING LOT. This is of course done without permission and should be considered stalking especially since it is used to penalize unaware customers. Please address this immediately and help the public from being scammed.Review from David W

Paid for parking using SpotHero. Tried to call and get forced to website. Try to use the email and get "Your message to disputes @ empireparkingservices.com couldn't be delivered.disputes wasn't found at empireparkingservices.com." This is after trying my different email addresses.Try using the contact function from their website and get "500 - Internal server error." even when I try from different browsersReview from Felicia B

Booted my car at LAZ parking lot behind the **************************************. It's a scam. I paid for parking and came out to a boot. I scanned the code while in the lot before leaving my car and paid for the day though I received no email receipt (it showed up on my credit card statement though along with the $75 I had to pay to get the boot off). Funny how I got a receipt for that payment. Illegally booted my car and there is no way to dispute it or get your money back as there is no customer service or accountability. If there was any other place to park, I would pay twice as much to never have to deal with such crooks.Review from Prakey A

This company will be investigated. The operator and management should watch out because the investigators will be coming for them for predatory practices. Watch out empire because you will not be in operation much longer.Review from Demi C

These people are scam artists. The fact that this business is allowed to operate by the *************** is absolutely astonishing. These people booted my car at my place of work. I arrived in the parking garage and was there less than 3 hours and was booted after 11PM. After calling to tell them that I work at the location, the operator told me that they would send the parking assistant out and that they would arrive in an hour. Mind you it is 2AM and I am alone with another young woman in a parking garage in the middle of ******* late at night. Over an hour goes by and we call back and the parking attendant answers this time. She then passes the phone to her Shift or Parking Supervisor who doesn't care to listen to anything I have to say about working at the place where I was booted. He then yells at me after I tell him that we were told different information from the operator about when they would arrive. I told him we were told that someone was coming over an hour ago. He said he would not come unless we paid through the ** code despite the fact that my friend's code wasn't working and yelled something to the affect of "Well who do you think you should listen to me the Supervisor or the operator?!" Which wasn't at all the point of what I was saying anyways. He then proceeded to yell and I realized I wouldn't be able to have a real conversation with him. We called again after a bit and a woman picked up and said she would unboot us if we paid when she arrived and we said ok because my friend's card wasn't working through the ** code. We were there until 4AM. In a parking garage as two young women. I truly hope that they eventually boot the wrong person and they are sued within an inch of their life. They are clearly scam artists with no interest in human decency or politeness. They are the worst type of people.Review from Melanie J

** SEVERAL ATTEMPTS have been emailed to the company with absolutely NO RESPONSE. I BELIEVE THEY ARE A SCAM BUSINESS. If a class action lawsuit has been started please advise. If not, I will look into starting one.On 6/27/2023 I parked at Laz Parking 76 Forsyth Street at around 12:48pm I saw a young man parked in a grey 2 door sports car (driving a Camaro), he was just sitting in his car (later, I learned he was sitting there watching me as he was the guy that placed a boot on my car.)I parked my car (12:48pm) my phone would NOT allow me to scan the ** code on the parking deck (to pay) AND the elevator was broken. So unfortunately, I had to walk down 3 levels ( I have trouble walking) down to the Kiosk, to pay and get a paper receipt. I walked back up 3 FLIGHTS (to place the receipt on my dashboard of my car). Within 5 mins. the young man had already put a boot on my car. I spoke to him on the phone number he provided (on the receipt; see attachment) and He said " I parked my car at 12:48pm and he put the boot on my car at 12:53pm. He LITERALLY gave me ONLY 5 mins to walk down 3 flights (because the elevator was broken) to pay and retrieve a paper ticket from the kiosk.Because I have trouble walking I couldn't run down 3 flights nor should I have too.Sufficient and Reasonable Time should be given for people to retrieve a ticket from the Kiosk if they are unable to scan the ** code located on the parking deck.I am requesting a full refund
