I received the attached letter today 3/13/23 saying I have an account balance from this company. The letter stated insurance company denied claim. There is no date of service or the type of services provided or where the service was provided. They did not provide a number to call in the letter so I went to the website and called ************. A man answered the phone and when I provided the account number he sent me to another department. I was forced to leave a message as no one answered. In the message I requested a call back and for an itemized bill be sent to be before I provide any information. This does not sound like it is legitimate and feel this might be a scam. I am reaching out through BBB so I have proof that I tried to settle this with the company because I feel if I do not have proof this is a type of company that would send me to collections without sending an itemized bill. Please work with this company to send an appropriate itemized bill. If my child did receive services and they need update insurance information I will provide it after receiving details of the services.Business response

I am in receipt of the inquiry filed with the Better Business Bureaus via the online portal. A thorough search was completed, and the account was reviewed in detail. I attempted to reach the guarantor using the number on the inquiry; a voice mail message was left. I received a voice mail from someone at Pediatrix and I reached back out. I left a message for them to call back. I informed them I am home from work after 3:30pm Central time to discuss the matterBusiness response

I have successfully made contact with the guarantor as of March 23, 2023. We have discussed her concerns and she has indicated she is satisfied at this time. I have also provided my direct contact information should she need anything further.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I received the itemized bill and was able to provide the insurance information online. I am currently waiting for them to run the insurance to see the outcome
