I was in a car accident June 4, 2022. I contacted the Law offices of Kanner and Pintaluga for legal advice. I then chose to us them as my attorney in this case. Since I signed the documents they have done very poorly communicating with me to let me know whats going on with my case I email and call constantly with no response nor answer. With the most recent date being March 23,2022 and Im still waiting on someone to respond. I had two cases one for myself and one for my daughter neither as be paid. However I did receive a letter in the mail saying that the other parties insurance has paid on my case on 1/12/2022 but I still havent received any amount. Every time I call to ask about this no one answers, but they have asked me if Id like to assume responsibility for the medical bills on my own. To me this makes no since because I will have to pay *****% to the attorney and thats why Im paying them so much in order for them to have medical bills reduced but it seems like they are trying to ******* me or get out of doing there job. Can you please assist me with this. Im lost and dont know what to do at this point. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my email. ~*****************************Business response

I hired ********************************************* as my attorney in 09/10/2020 for my car accident case. Since hiring them this experience has been awful. The lack of communication from the attorneys office is awful. They do not have direct answers to your questions. They gaslight you to get you off the phone quickly. The paralegals do not know anything. They keep passing the case. They do not answer the phone. The attorneys do not provide you their name or contact information just a first name.Business response

Have had a pending auto accident case and being ignored and given the run around by staff the have also continued to give me false updates containing the same information and it seems like recently a lot of people have also been going through this with them according to the most recent ****** revies of this business, if there is clearly a issue with the business and multiple people are speaking up about it why can the continue this.Business response

I have been going back and forth with ********************************************* for almost two years now. I approached them to represent me after I was in an accident while in a company vehicle nearly two years ago. At first, everything seemed to move fast and then it rolled to a crawl. Finally got a settlement offer in September and accepted it. The insurance company sent the settlement to ********************************************* on September 21, 2021. They have given me the run around and claimed the money was in the reductions department but I only have two reductions for medical bills. One medical **** for my ** visit was to be paid by worker's comp since I was on the job but K&P insist there is an outstanding ****. I have reached out to Welsltar who have repeatedly told me that my balance is Z**O for the ** visit. I have asked and asked my caseworker to show me proof that there is an outstanding balance and received nothing. I ask to be forwarded to a supervisor but they never call you back and the lawyers working on your reductions don't want anything to do with you. Wellstar has asked that my caseworker from K&P talk to them because there is no balance but she refused to do so. When I ask for proof of outstanding **** from my caseworker, she asks me to get. I sent her documentation showing I did not have a balance to pay and she ignored me. I also asked for proof that they paid said outstanding medical claim, her response was that she would send me proof of the check when it is printed, it has not been paid as of today 12/11/2021. No one wants to listen to me when I say I have no outstanding medical **** for the ** visit as it was paid via Worker's Comp. They already have their share of the settlement and I believe they are looking to get more. They claimed that the reductions department would do their thing for 4 to 6 weeks, we are now going on 12 weeks. I want K&P to be truthful and show me whatever documentation they have proving I have an outstanding medical **** from Wellstar and my settlement asapBusiness response

I was involved in auto accident in April 2021. I have completed all treatment and was notified by email on Oct.4 2021 that my case had been settled and was transferred to reductions department (Kitana). I have called and emailed on several occasions for an update on the status of my case. I have left multiple messages but have never spoken with my reduction specialist. None of my calls have been returned or emails answered. Company has cut all communication since settlement. All providers state that they have supplied necessary documentation for payment. Last communication with company was Oct 4, 2021.Business response

Please note that we are legally and ethically prohibited from commenting on the specifics of any given clients' case. However, at a bare minimum the client was emailed a few weeks back, just before Thanksgiving, on 11/24/21, and we will otherwise follow up wiht him again soon. Unfortunately, sometimes we can recover the maximum amount for a case but the medical bills are greater than that amount which would require a more involved reductions process. I am rejecting this response because: Complaint was not about amount of settlement but lack of communication. I have no record of an email sent on Nov.24, 2021. My last communication with this firm was on Oct.4, 2021 as previously stated. I understand the reduction process usually takes 6 to 12 weeks but as we approach the 12 week ****, I have had zero communication with this company since Oct.4, 2021 despite multiple phone calls and emails.
