We are not customers of Mosquito ***. We are organic gardeners and dedicate our yard to pollinators, organic vegetable gardening and herbs and wildlife. We are actively opposed to mosquito spraying as we have sincere concerns about the impact that anti-mosquito sprays have on the well-being and health of pollinators, ecosystems, pets and humans. This morning, while we were not home, a Mosquito *** representative arrived at our home and without our consent began to spray our yard with anti-mosquito spray. My husband was notified of activity in our yard by the Ring camera at our front door. He could see the representative busy spraying the yard and he could see the van marked Mosquito ***. So he called the company and requested they stop immediately. However in the time that it took for the company to reach their representative on site, he had already sprayed much of our front property.I called the company and spoke to a manager to told me that the representative had simply mixed up our address with an exiting customer's address and had sprayed our yard as a mistake. We feel this was an active violation of our property and our right to choose what chemicals are used on our land or not. Companies should not be able to invade private property and violate homeowners rights in this way. They seem to have no built in checks and operate with absolute impunity. Drs. have to check and check patients before they administer medication - why don't these companies have more requirements to make sure of the correct location before they begin their work?We have pets and children who play in our yard. As mentioned, we have an organic vegetable garden and compost system. This whole system has now been compromised. I have to keep the pets and children in doors. Not to mention the impact on the pollinators and wildlife who use our garden as a refuge and home. We are extremely unhappy with the situation and the company's actions and careless way of operating.Business response

We did treat **************** yard by accident last Friday. We have a customer in the area with a very similar address and ************** made a mistake. I called ************ earlier today and left her a voicemail and I also emailed her to apologize for the mistake as well as give her a copy of the label for the all-natural product which was used on her yard. We are human, but we take mistakes like this serious and have addressed it with the technician in question. We do hope ************ will forgive ** for this mistake.Customer response
