      In November of 2018 I took a recommendation from someone to get pet insurance on my 2 dogs. Someone recommended ManyPets. I went for it. I got everything setup and then something happened after 3 months in this is where the trouble starts. My dog Khloe got into medication she had been given. I had to rush her to emergency care. ***** which I contacted ManyPets for a reimbursement to ManyPets. Then they asked for all of Khloe medical records. I downloaded over 900 to 1000 records from banfield and sent them to ManyPets. They stated to me they needed Doctors Notes. So I asked them to contacted ********. Again ******** sent them the same notes and information. ManyPets was kind and said "We will approve it but going forward we will need the notes from the doctor.' ***** this another incident Jun 20th of last year they stated they had a problem with my card. I tried fixing it and then called ManyPets they said it was a Technical issue and they wouldn't cancel me. Yet I received cancellation and no payments where taken. I spent hours with them again calling and getting the run around. Til finally I said then never mind. I recently saw charges pop up in November thought this was a blip. And contacted them and stated Cancel Me. Again no answer. Finally again and again they taken money without letting me know I was reinstated and have never used their service but once. They are not worth having or working with. Now I am having a hard time getting Canceled again. I may have to get a new card.

      Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for any inconvenience you may have incurred but I assure you we are happy to help you in any way we can. 1. ManyPets was not an active company in ***************** until March 21, 2021. Maybe in 2018 you were with another company.2. I've researched your account and have found 10 documents downloaded to our system.3. Our system shows the technical issues related to your credit card was due to an invalid credit card number being entered.4. I apologize for the miscommunication when you reached out to us in November 2023. However, the last communication was a phone call to you on October 26, 2023. The voicemail message said the mailbox was full. Since we couldn't leave a message we followed up with an email. We never received a phone call or email from you after that date.5. Our system shows a claim was filed on April 3, 2023 and we reimbursed you $124.40. Therefore the service was used.6. We heard from you on July 10, 2024 and canceled your policy as you requested.Please let us know if you have additional questions or concerns that you would like me to address and I would be happy to do so.

      BUYER BEWARE! This is the worst experience I have ever had with a pet wellness provider. The tactic is delay, denial and dismissal of claim. The policy as presented upon enrollment does not reveal the fine print and additional burden of health record history they use for denial of claim. After months of delay, they denied any reimbursement. I cancelled using their web portal. My account offered a Cancel Policy area. Several months later, I noticed I was still being charged. When I followed up to dispute ongoing charges, I was told I should have been directed elsewhere for cancellation of policy originally. This did not happen, and is obviously another hidden tactic to add to the list of their poor business practice. In my experience Many Pets is a fraudulent business. For the record, I have used Pets Best and Healthy Paws in the past, with NO issues whatsoever as well as speedy reimbursement of any claims I dismiss needed to submit. I switched to Many Pets as their premium was priced more affordably. That is now truly understandable, as I suspect they do everything possible never to honor a claim. My vet also said it was the worst insurance provider they have ever interfaced with. THAT says volumes. If i could submit this review with zero stars, it would be accurate.

      Thank you for your feedback as it is greatly appreciated. 1. ManyPets has confirmed receipt of one claim submitted to our office on January 22, 2024. Our system shows the claim was approved. As with most insurance policies, deductibles are applicable. Since the full deductible had not been met after the claim was filed, there was no reimbursement due.2. ManyPets insurance documentation does not contain fine print as all font sizes are the same except for section headings. The insurance documentation is clear listing specific instructions on how to cancel a policy.3. When ManyPets became aware of the cancelation request, the policy was canceled immediately and all appropriate refunds were administered, back to February 2024.

      Buyer beware!! SCAM!! Not recommended. They will find a way to link an illness to a pre-existing condition and deny your claim. For example: If there is an elevated enzyme detected in the blood they will link it to whatever illness your pet has, even a year later. It really seems like they just want your money. $500 deductible and cover 80%. Premium's just doubled too. You can only cancel the Insurance by calling the number on their website. I suggest everyone that has an account with them do that and put the money that you send this company in a jar and save it for your pet emergency.

      The WORST pet insurance!!! I would NOT recommend ManyPets!!! Even though I have had ManyPets for a long time, they will not pay for hip dysplasia. The discrimination of senior dogs for a condition that is extremely common is outrageous! They don't say why, but since it is an incurable, chronic, and expensive condition they will not cover it for any animal because it is TOO MUCH MONEY! You can't even rescue a senior dog with this pet insurance. Unbelievable. Now I'm stuck with them for the rest of my dog's life.

      I have not submitted ONE claim for my six different pets. I just received a renewal notice. The premiums will double. Im going to the state to see how they are allowed to do this. Dont trust them. This is the classic bait and switch. As another person noted, its hard to switch because any conditions are now consistent with pre-existing. Not only that but there are substantial changes in the renewal notices. They dont care about your pets. I am going to see just how they have accomplished this substantial increase in premiums.

      ManyPets is currently gouging its customers pretty terribly. In their latest renewal notice, they informed me that the insurance for my 5-year-old-boxer is increasing 136% in one year. Going from about $70 per month to over $160.This is particularly harmful because if I want to leave their company, some of my dog's health concerns will now be considered pre-existing conditions. This is a huge breach of trust that will have lasting impacts for my pet. I urge any pet owners to avoid this company at all costs.

      Your deductible is higher than you agree to When I was switching insurance companies, manypets had decent reviews and the price was right. To my surprise, when I filed my first claim, they agreed to all charges, but I didnt get any money back from them, even though I went over my deductible ($580 on a $500 deductible). Thats because, unlike in any other insurance, many pets takes a reimbursement percentage BEFORE your deductible is applied. So instead of getting reimbursed for what I paid over my deductible, they claim I havent surpassed my deductible yet. By their math, I actually have to pay $625 on my $500 deductible before they start reimbursement.This is an insurance scam.

      If I could leave negative stars I would. If you want insurance that will actually be there when you need it, this is not it. If you're looking for customer service or even people who can read- this is not the plan you should get for your fur family. They cancelled my plan without my knowledge- no email, phone call or text was given. When I called to complain they acted like they cared & would reinstate for the same cost as before they cancelled without my knowledge. I got an email 3 days after that call saying too bad so sad we're not lowering your premium. I told her I would be canceling soon (not **** ******* She cancells both policies. Unreal irresponsible unintelligent non-existent customer service. When this company fails miserably I will not be surprised. Save yourself some trouble & DON'T go here.
