Date of Transaction: April 30, 2023 until June 13, 2023, when I realized this was a scam. These discussions were through email and chat line. I have copies of all correspondence received from *********** Women Leaders. Amount paid: $313.95 for annual membership, April 30, 2023 Business would provide: a Zoom remote conference on June 8, 2023, with several speakers, also access online to other previous speakers, whom I could listen to throughout a year's time. When I could not get through to the company for the conference call, I tried to send emails and got no response. I looked up the site again, and this time noted that there were complaints registered with the ******* ************************** which provided information that this company was a fraud and potentially working throughout the **** *********** changed addresses and names of staff to contact, as it set up shop in other states. Nothing was provided to me by this company. My money was sent through a debit card to another company: Executive Summits located in *******, *******, ********************************************************************; Federal Tax ***********************; Fax: ************; email: ********************************************** I paid the fee on April 30, 2023. I have filed a fraud report with ***********************************. My file number is *******. Metro Atlanta CEO with ***************************, CPAs and Advisors, provided a BBB scam alert, which I found online on June 13, 2023. Its news was provided to the public for the first time on December 8, 2022 by metroatlantacoe.com/news/2021//12/bbb-scam-alert-womens-leadership-summit-after-more-than-you-leadership-skills/ The business has made no effort to get in touch with me. Thank you. If I can help any other woman avoid this fraud, that'd be nice.

********************** has been answered every time that she was on our chatline.  **************** responded to ******* in a timely manner and answered every question that she asked.  ********************** also receive every email communication that was sent to her.  She even responded to the meeting notice that was sent for *********** virtual event.  She registered as a member which gave her 12 monthly meetings and 1 virtual kickoff event.  This was also on our website where you can choose which pricing you would like to register for, with a 30-day refund. When she received her receipt for membership, the botton of that receipt has our terms and conditions that let our members know regarding our policies. ********************** wanted to ask for a refund until August 13, 2023.

On October 22, 2021, I received an invitation from a *********** Women Leaders Summit representative to be a guest speaker. I initially consented to do so but had to cancel. I communicated this to the representative. In January 2022, I was informed that I am listed on *********** Women Leaders Summit's website as a "member." ( http://chattanoogawomenleaders.org). On January 19, 2022, I reached out to the representative. I indicated that I had not agreed verbally or in writing to be a member of this organization and requested my name and information removed. On January 25 and February 3, I made subsequent requests asking the same. To date, my name still appears on their site. They do not have permission to use my information on their site, especially since I am not a member of their organization. Their practice is dishonest, to say the least.

According to our records ************** was in communication with our scheduler all the way up to December 2021. We have attached multiple documentations regarding this opportunity.  Once a speaker is confirmed, we do add them to our system as they will also receive monthly meetings along with our other benefits. She was not charged anything for being a speaker or potential speaker later on. We do not have any communication regarding that she wanted to be removed from our system until now.  If ************** would of use our chat option, we would have had this issue resolved.

      Complaint: 16756614

I am rejecting this response because none of the messages in 2021 clearly indicated that I would become a member of the organization, nor did the organization make such an offer, or indicate that my name and information would be publicized on their website. If an invitation translates into automatic membership, that should be made clear. Furthermore, the organization should also indicate that membership means that names and place of employment would be printed on its website. Not such courtesy was given.

The organization refers to communication that occurred up to December 2021. I have attached communication that shows me clearly asking their planning director to remove my information from the website, and I do not wish to be a member of their organization. The planning director gave the same "reasoning" that the organization gave, and I insisted on being removed. Please see the attached document which indicates timelines of my request.

The bottom line is that I want my name and information removed from their website immediately.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************
