We've been trying to communicate with the client regarding her purchase. We have sent all the materials to republished her book and up until now, we are still waiting for her response and approval. I tried to have a book published with the company. They published but I am not getting the royalties that I was supposed. They have not contacted me. I paid them ******. I cancelled the contract with Xlibris (Author**;s H3131**363230**313138H) them. I have not heard from them in six months. I cancelled a contract Xlibris.Business response

Thank you for resending this information and I apologize for the delay of response. Anyway, we have fulfilled the service that the author paid with our company. As she mentioned that we have published her book and the only concern she has is not getting royalties. In regard to that, sales aren't guaranteed so are royalties. The only time they can get royalty is if they have book sales. However, we don't have any control with her book sales. We can't give her what we don't have, which is a sale from her book. On the other hand, we have fulfilled the service she has paid. Thank you and please let me know if you have any other questions.

I paid Author's Tranquility Press for a Book signing event on September 2023 for the dates of November 1st - 5th. On October17, 2023. ************************* emailed me and said at the time I paid the money; the slots were already filled. I asked ************** to kindly refund my money. She says ******************** you are upset, just think about it. I thought about it, sent her an email on October 26, 2023. I did not her from **************. On November 8, 2023, I sent ************* one last letter and formal request asking for my refund for services that were not rendered and to "Cease and Desist" production of Sooner Than I Thought. She received and acknowledged, trying to offer other book signing. I called on January 19th. leaving a voice mail to a *************************, about the ongoing online bookstores. I've also sent letters one being signature to the address on the internet and the address in my book. Thank you. ********************************Business response

I have continually asked "Author Tranquility Press to Cease and Desist the production of my book Via email, certified letters and voice messages, since November 8th 2023. I've asked this company to remove me from online retailers, and they have not. I have a new company, and I can't move forward. I've also asked this company to return $1500 dollars I paid on September 28th 2023 for a service that that was not rendered. What this company, is doing is Illegal. We have already addressed the concerns of *********************************. We have fulfilled the services that she has paid for and republished her book. On the other hand, we tried helping her in removing her book on Amazon but the only way for her to do it is for her to send an email directly to Amazon since she owns the copyright of her book. This concern was taken seriously with our team and we always make sure to provide the best and quality services as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and the late response with this matter. We have thought that the concerns were resolved since we already have provided the documents needed when she filed her complaint. Thank you for your understanding and let me know if there's something more we can do to help.

It saddens me to understand why this company, continues to lie. They are the publisher, and only they can remove me from the various websites. I have written several letters including one from my attorney to this company, asking them to ***** and Desist the printing and selling of my book. On March 22, 2024 I spoke with Ms.*************************** who assured me that she would send my $1499.00 back for services that were not rendered . On April 22, ******************** *************************** in an email stating that I have not heard from her and to ***** and Desist the selling of my book.This company knows this is Ilegal and accept authors wishes. ********** contacted me from Author's Tranqiality Press about self-publishing my book. I was told the financial commitment was minimal . The company has continued to take my money for video trailer marketing materials and has not delivered on its promise. I have never received royalty checks, and they have marketed my book and sold very few books; ********** and powerfully armed verbally harassed me to keep investing, or my book would never sell. Thank you for sendin me the response, Even though they did deliver some services, I was promised from their Foremr employeee ********** that book would be come a moveie. I also spoke with a women *****************. I then learned it was a scam. After Van was let go I never heard from **** or Van, I also was verbally harrased by Van to do a trailer and spend ***** I did not have . I also on many ossciaions harrased by Van to spend moeny and got nothing in return,

I went to contract with authors Tranquility press to republish three of my books in the fall of 2022. All three books went to market in October and I started to receive royalties on the 4th quarter of 2022. *********** sent me a sales report of the first quarter showing sales of over 160 books. When I questioned by email where my royalty report and check were I was told they were running a little late ... they were going to send me a check for the 11 books in May. I asked them to explain the discrepancy between the sales report and the royalty report. It was then they stopped communicating with me. I have not heard anything from them other than in April, a salesman called me and sold me a $3,000 marketing contract since my books were doing so well. I also paid to publish my brother's book. He has been getting regular royalty checks. I have not received payment on the first quarter or the second quarter third quarter payment is due the first of November. I've tried reaching them several times to no avail. I reported this to the Federal trade commission and I also lodged a complaint with the *** fraud division. I still have heard nothing. Living on social security I was depending on the modest income from my books to supplement. After reading some of the other complaints, I can see now that I am not alone in being taken by this company.Business response

Basing on the services that the client has purchased, we have fulfilled all the services. Client purchased marketing services which we also fulfilled. However, we don't promise any book sales. Their response is baloney. What they didn't tell you is that my book sales were percent more than what they were showing on their royalty report, and they have not sent any royalties all year. That is the Crux of my complaint..Customer response

Thank you for your response. The people at Authors Tranquility Press are trying to deny paying me for the attached sales generated in the first and second quarters. **** have not posted ANY sales or royalties on my author page since the 4th quarter of last year. I'm attaching the reports sent to me by ******************************* who, at the time, was my sales rep. **** also never provided me with any evidence of fulfillment of the marketing contract for $3000 which was sold to me by **********. **** informed me that neither one of those gentlemen is with the company any longer. ************************* (name he gave to me) of this fake publishing house keeps calling and harassing me through several different numbers. I first listened to his proposal and had him send it to me in writing. I asked detailed information on his company such as about the founder. He gave me a good story. When I researched the information I found that it was all fabricated. After repeatedly telling him I was uninterested. Telling him straight out NO!, he continues to repeatedly call. This appears to be an offshore scam operation targeting Americans with dreams of publishing (or republishing in my case). After reading the other complaints, Im concluding that BBB needs to do real research (not just accept their BS responses to the complaints) and not just give them an F rating, but notify consumers that this is an offshore scam. This is NOT a business. This is an offshore scam. Please report to scam agencies!!!Business response

Regarding the Author's Tranquility Press, they are 100% a scam and need to be shut down immediately. They go after the elderly for money. Thankfully they did not get any money from my family member, but when I called to stop the harassment they then started calling me non stop for 15 mins straight, just being terribly rude. They also let slip the business isn't even in Georgia, which I gathered due to the broken English being spoken. This business needs to be shut down, but we all know that wont happen due to being in another country. BBB needs to list this business as an F.Business response

Author's Tranquility Press sold my mother on a republishing agreement using falsified sales data about her current publisher. Based on the strength of this false sales pitch, she sent nearly $10,000 to ATP over the course of a few months starting around Sept 2022, only to have them demand another $4k in unexpected, unannounced, hidden costs. They also proceeded with the project despite my elderly mother not having even opened the email with their contact agreement in it. ATP was happy to look the other way when she was sending them money, but they refuse to talk to us now. So far we have received exactly nothing of value from this company, despite having paid them almost $10,000. We requested a refund almost a month ago and at that point they basically stopped communicating with me. I don't know whether they are a legit publishing company that has simply failed to deliver any kind of professional service, or an outright scam and fraud.Business response

The company published my book in August, 2022. I was advised that royalties from book sales during the 3rd quarter of 2022 would be paid to me in January, 2023. In early January I received an email letting me know the amount of my payment, and was advised that accounting had sent the check to my home address. When it did not arrive within 2 weeks, I asked them to confirm my mailing address. They confirmed the address was accurate. No check has been received as of February 8th, so it is already a month late. About weekly I follow up with an inquiry about my check, with vague and unsatisfactory responses. The explanation I have received repeatedly was that it was sent and they have no control over whoever was the unknown agent they used to send me my check. They really dont know if it was the **** or a private company. They acknowledged that I am not the only author whose check has not arrived. I was told that many of their authors were still waiting to be paid. I have not received a notice of bankruptcy so I am suspecting that Authors Tranquility Press is either in financial distress or is operating some kind of con game.
