Columbia residential and housing signed me into a rent to buy lease in January of 2018. Within 5 years of leasing this house I was supposed to be able to buy the house. The manager at that time was **************************. She is no longer with me company that I/ We pay. Now we pay to a sister complex to our complex, and both complex are own by Columbia residential and now is under new management. We have had to foot the maintenance of this house and are being over charged with the rent , plus being billed two different water bills each month. Now, the fees are being raised against us to where as they are ridiculous and cannot be paid. The secretary of the sister probably has been loading extra fees of monitory values and are trying to force us to move so she won't be figured out. Ms. ***************************** I believe her name is. Please contact me via email and phone ********************************* and or phone number ************ or *************.

Hi! My name is ***************************. Ive been living at Columbia brookside for almost 3 years now. This year alone I have put in at least 7 things that need to be fixed. Three are major incidents. A bathroom upstairs, my dishwasher, and now my air. Its almost 80 degrees in my apartment. Now, I was also told that late fees are posted on the last day for rent and water @8 AM the SAME morning for the last day of rent or water bill to be paid. And I dont feel like thats fair at all to be hit with a late fee before the day ends and cant seem to get anything fixed maintenance wise around the neighborhood. Im not the only one, Im sure of it. But I refuse to do this with a company and they cant take care of business the CORRECT way on their end.

The leasing office at ************ at *********** **** a Columbia residential property Has lost several money orders of mine One from December 2022 and one from October 2023 I have a property manager Named ******************* who has been provided a money order receipt which was stamped and dated received and the money order was provided directly in front of the camera in the leasing office, I asked them to review the camera so they can confirm the funds were deposited they decided after a week of my request to say the camera is not functioning which is highly unlikely, ******************* has been unprofessional and and at times rude and extremely unhelpful the entire leasing office and corporate office refuse to accept responsibility that the handling of this money order is entirely of their doing once it was placed in the Dropbox , ******************* went on to say the employee at the front desk ************* no longer recalls witnessing the money order being placed in the Dropbox as I reminded them to check the camera, The other money order from 12/22 was also deposited and mishandled in a similar fashion in which the receipt was thrown away but a trace is in process from western union , I have ******************* on a legal recording stating the money order was found and accounted for the next day she decided to change her mind that it was located I worked with both the leasing office and corporate office for a resolution but they are not willing and many calls and e-mails go unanswered I am now seeking compensation and an apology for this extremely unprofessional treatment and am willing to go public and exhaust all legal and media options to obtain resolution and compensation.

I have been dealing with this issue since June 30, 2023, well over 30 days that the law states.I was first told by office assistant manager ( *******************************) by email on 07/19/2023, that I had no Security Deposit documented with the company.I responded by email and by phone on 07/19/23 to confirm that indeed I have not only paid a Security Deposit, but also had in receipt the copy of lease stating the matter, as well as a money order receipt with the exact amount stating the fact. I brought the copies to the leasing office on 07/19/23 for ******************************* to make copies. She told me that she would have to send documentation to Ms. ************************* to review.I was finally able to speak with Ms. ************************* after contacting the **** I was told by **************** on 08/30/23 stating that if I could have the money order traced to prove that it was indeed for the purpose of the Security Deposit. I already had started that process because I knew I was dealing with some sort of fraud or deceit, whether being on the company of Columbia Residential or ********************* Company.I was told by ************************* that once I received proof to show that the money order was paid to The Village of ***********, I would receive the return of my Security Deposit as well as the fees associated with the tracing within two weeks at the latest. This information was sent by email to Ms. ************************* on 09/11/2023. Still to date (10/13/23), I have not had any response regarding the return of my Security Deposit.

I am having an extreme issue. I was assaulted on this property back in July. per my lease VAWA requirements state I would be relocated due to my life and safety in jeopardy. I keep getting the run around. Management stated I was going to be relocated by end of July to a sister property. I have submitted everything with no response I continue to be delayed. I continue to send messages to the corporate office portal as well. Please understand this is an urgent issue. The predator is still on the property my neighbor I am afraid for my life. I am paying rent and must stay different place to avoid coming home to be assaulted again because he was released from jail. This has been traumatizing. Yes my hours at work have been lowered because I was assaulted. I am mentally exhausted.

I have resided at Park Citi Apartments since June 2021. During my leasing process there were several amenities advertised, among them a pool. Management has stated that the pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but this has never been the case. When reaching out to the corporate and on-site offices, no one seems to be able to open the pool. As someone who pays market rent, I am very upset by constantly getting the run around and blatently lied to. The response is always that they are waiting for the ***************** to come inspect the pool. In reality, there has only been 1 inspection since I moved in, with no record of additional requests or pending inspections. This sole inspection took place in August 2022. Meanwhile, I have numerous communications from management stating that the pool opening is only contingent upon inspections. I could go on and on for days, but in truth, I'm tired of talking about this. I am requesting the following:1. A lease admendment specifically detailing amenity operations, amenity access, and upkeep responsibilities to be adhered to by Park Citi.2. Immediate and continued pool opening until Labor Day, with reasonable access. The last inspection was dated August 2022 and is valid for one year. It is now June 2023 - The argument that you all are waiting for an inspection is dishonest and untrue.3. Address lack of access to other amenities, including alleged "Clubhouse" and fitness center.

I pay $1,078 a month in rent to this management company. Ive been living at *************** since 2020, since living at this complex my ceiling has continuously leaked with no fix. My car was broken into in our parking garage due to the company leaving the garage door unfixed for months. My mail has been stolen twice from the mailbox. My air filter has not been changed once since moving in causing me to become sick from the overwhelming amount of ************ which I am highly allergic to both. My floor flooded from the water heater, the carpet has yet to be replaced.

I lived in Columbia Commons for 12 years. I was a good tenant and ALWAYS paid on time. I moved out in good standing. I had to move because the area was getting too dangerous. I took pictures of the apartment and me and the leasing office said our goodbyes, as we had a good relationship (or at least I thought). That was April 2021. Fast forward to December 2022, I get a notification saying my credit report of 835 has dropped to 7 something due to a collection. I call the corporate office and can't reach anyone. I then call the leasing office and she tells me to dispute it with the collection agency. I'm like aren't they going to refer me back to you? Not only that she cannot explain ANY of the charges. For the FIRST time EVER I get a closing account statement via email with the breakdown of charges because I demand to see what they are charging me for. The charges don't make sense. I'm being charged for 4 water bills but CC doesn't accept partial payments and water is included so there's no way I could owe 4 bills and still have been living there!!! One bill was from 2020 but I lived there until 2021. Also they have me moving out on the 11th which is also incorrect!!! My phone number hasn't changed in 15 years, my email I've had longer than that. My mail was forwarded. I state this to the leasing agent to remind her they LITERALLY NEVER CONTACTED ME! While we're on the phone the coporate office calls me back and IMMEDIATELY acknowledges that these charges are incorrect. He says he's so sorry and I shouldn't have been put through this. He tells me I must speak with the district manager and that her name is ***************************. I tell him I've been calling her all day to no avail. He let me know she would call me back by the next day but it hasn't happened. Mainly I feel this is MALICIOUS intent to destroy someone: FAKE charges and a refusal to contact me. Is this how they do other people?

Management at The ******************************************** gave me a false rental history that resulted in me being denied housing. August 2022 I was informed by ************* that management at The Tower ***************** Manor informed them that I was responsible for them having to paint, and replace mini blinds (alledgedly due to smoke) in my vacated apartment. I did not smoke in my apartment, nor was I warned I was in any kind of violation in that regard. I did cook often and burn incense as part of spiritual cleansing and awareness. Note; my apt was very small and the kitchen opened to the living room. For the record I did a formal moveout inspection June 2021, and everything was noted and signed off on. None of this was noted nor mentioned to me. All was good until they tried to withhold my security deposit due to an overdue carpet replacement, of which I eventually after filing a complaint with the BBB. I feel this unfounded & undocumented attach on my stellar rental history is backlash for my security deposit being returned, and the unwillingness of The Tower to perform routine maintenance to their units. Having to paint an apartment or even replace old and worn mini blinds should not be a reason to disparge a prior tenant a year after the fact.
