My Singer 4452 Sewing Machine had a timing issue, and the ****************** directed me to send it to Atlanta Sewing Machine, as they were the closest warranty repair shop. I shipped my sewing machine to them, but upon receipt they informed me it was not covered by warranty and would cost me for repairs. The price to repair was almost the same as the price to purchase a new machine, so I was trying to work with them about potentially trading it in for a newer model. When I decided I would just like my machine back, it took over two months for the company to return the machine. When I received the machine it was worse than when I shipped it to them; with several scuffs and scraps that were not there when I sent it, parts missing; and most importantly...it was now not functioning. I sent photos of the machine and the problems, and they offered to ship me another machine, because "they had tons of them with the timing issue". Therefore, it is safe to assume they did not send me back my initial machine. They told me the reason it was rusted now was because they just store them in a warehouse after 30 days. The fact that I was not told about the 30 day limit and they sent me back a nonfunctioning machine, that probably is not mine is wrong and I would like to be reimbursed for the machine.
