I took a **** GMC Yukon into Ronnis transmission repair to be fix. Third gear was not working. His solution was to rebuild the transmission. I was told he would replace it with one he had that was already rebuilt same transmission. took three months to replace it. When we received it the 1st time within the 1st week, we heard a crackling noise. ***** was returned to him by tow truck could not drive. 2nd 3rd and 4th time the truck had problems going into 1st gear third gear and overdrive. Each time we didn't have the truck back a week. The last time he returned the truck we were told it was a bad computer. The vehicle was in my possession not even a month and I was getting a traction control light. To get it home the last time the traction control light would come on and it would go into reduce power mode. I drove it home and parked it in front of the house. Went to start it Monday to keep the battery charged and I saw smoke and transmission fluid pouring out. It has been over three weeks I have been waiting for him to come pick the truck up. He said he would send a tow truck at this point I want a refund and I will take it to another shop to have it repaired. My wife and I have no faith it will be fixed correctly. They have had 5 tries to get it right. All summer while he had the vehicle, I have been renting trucks to work with, with all that I have seen and experienced I don't think they can fix it. 5 Tries is a little excessive. I tried to work something out with the amount of refund, but he said he is not giving a refund. I am trying you guys before court. I don't want to go that route. I can't see any court not issuing a full refund of all my expenses (towing rental and cost to repair) being that this has been going on for 1 year and a half. It's not right if someone pays $1900.00 dollars for you to repair a vehicle and it's been 1.5 years and you still can't fix it. In the 1.5 years the vehicle has been in my possession for less than 3 months
