On June 2, 2021, ********************* (DBA ATL Pro Landscaping Services, Pro Landscaping ATL, LLC and/or C.E Landscaping **** was contracted to landscape my front yard and install Zoyzia sod (remove old grass, grade, prep and install new sod. On June 4, 2021, he sent an updated invoice increasing the job to $14,598.40 as opposed to the original amount of $11,785.60stating that the price of Zoyzia had increased, which I accepted. Yard was prepped on, Jun 27, 2021, grass installed July 2 - 4, 2021, grass was water daily, as instructed by ****************** via irrigation system and over half of the grass was dead on July 11, 2021. I sent a picture and text asking him to do an assessment to determine the issue. He fertilized the grass and said it should spread but it did not thrive. He told me I needed to order another pallet to replace the dead grass, which I ordered on Oct 13, 2021, but he said he could not fill the order due to weather (too cold). On Jan 21, 2022, I sent a text on the status but did not hear from him. On March 25, 2022, I sent another text, and his response was, "huh your grass isn't done"? On Mar 28, 2022, he ordered 2 pallets of grass and on April 3, 2022, he sent his plumber to lay the grass. Rather than removing old grass and mulch, he laid the grass on top of mulch from treed that were removed and old grass that had not been graded or prepped. Additionally, some of the new grass was already dead before he installed it. I texted ****************** about my concerns, and he said this job was over, he was not going to do anything else to my yard. He was paid $14,883.40 to do a professional job on my yard but due to his negligence, some of the grass died within two weeks of installation. After discovering that I submitted a complaint through BBB, he sent me a text stating "You filed a claim against me at the BBB and think I'm doing more work to address your concerns, good luck now, I'm telling you and your son I will not take any more of your calls."

*************** Son hired me to remove tree debris from his mothers at that time he asked if we laid sod I said yes so he referred me to his mom and upon his recommendation she gave us the job. Was out of town on work assignment so we spoke mostly over the phone since I was dealing with her son I was getting directives from him and periodically ************** would chime in and correct any thing that was not understood or that could not be answered by her son. So to start my initial quote was a quote to install Bermudah grass upon speaking to ************** it was made clear that she did not want Bermudah grass so at that time I explained that the cost of the grass she wanted would be more expensive she agreed so a price adjustment was made to cover the price difference. After we agreed on the new price work I advised ************** that with so much sod being laid she should consider an irrigation system she followed my recommendation I explained that this was not a service I offered nor did I know of a company to install a system nor did I want to be liable if anything went wrong she tried to find companies and no one showed up she kept asking me to please help because she didnt know what to do and that she wanted her yard fixed sooner than later reluctantly I said ok so I found a company I didnt know that said via the phone he would take the job I told ************** and her son to deal directly with this contractor that I would not play middle man nor would I be responsible if something went wrong in this process they agreed. So once they had an agreement the work started I brought in my grader and rough graded the lawn immediately following the irrigation sub came and installed his rough in after that my grader came and did the final at this point ************** arrived home for a few days and decided there were a few more trees she wanted down so I agreed to take them down But I explained I cant ***** grind them before I install the sod because it would mess up my final grade for the sod installation she agreed and I explained that later after the grass had taken I would still cover the ***** grinding but because she made the last minute change it would be her responsibility to remove the mulch since I would not have a machine that could go back over the lawn to move the mulch she said she understood a day or two later the sod was delivered ************** returned to her job out of state and the grass was installed job completed on my part. A few days later I get a call asking me why the irrigation system wont turn off is it running properly I told ************** and her son I would reach out to the *********** installed the system and put them in contact Remember I told them I didnt want to be a part of this they agreed but here we go calling me anyway so it was made clear that for the first two or three days some parts of the lawn was not getting water (enough water) some to much water after revisiting the home the irrigation sub fixed the issue however this was the middle of summer some of the grass was damaged due to this issue so ************** ask me to take care of the lawn until she got back I told her that I would go by and check on it when I could her neighbor said he would step up and see to it that it was getting the attention it needed at this time we noticed the in the area where the irrigation had issues bad spots started to appear I offered to fertilize those areas hoping that would bring the areas back long story short they didnt come back so ************** starting saying I spent a lot of money someone needs to fix this Ray your the contractor its your responsibility I said its not my responsibility you were not here to see to it that this lawn was watering properly and the grass did great in every other area except the area in question that was not enough for her so finally I agreed to assist in trying to fix it she agreed to purchase one more pallet so she bought one more I bought one more because there was also some additional area she wanted covered that didnt get covered in the initial install we laid that grass it took just fine but the spots got worst it was obvious that they were not coming back so I told her I would help at this time zoysia was out of season so I explained to her just wait and befor the season starts Ill fix them for you she kept calling and calling Im explained Im doing this as a favor not a obligation but I will get to it befor the season starts I ordered the stumps grind the mulch that we discussed was to be her responsibility now she wanted me to move it because she had no one to move it again I explained we already discussed this so finally I went by her house burned all the bad spots with a weed eater so the same installer who does all my installations and the rest of her yard that she is not complaining about (the plumber) as she refers to him by the way I guess to say a man cant have more than one skill. After he put down the pieces. To repair the spots she immediately called complaining says he wasnt satisfied she didnt give the patches time to grown in/blend in then she said my installer laid grass over mulch well he was never to touch the mulch area so if he did that you broke our agreement by having him do something I clearly explained I would not cover so at that point I said Im done I will not assist in anyway after that
