I visited this location of Peachtree Immediate Care because it was advertised on ****** Maps as an urgent care center, nothing more, nothing less. I have attached a screenshot for proof of this. When I arrived, they erroneously charged me $30 copay for an office visit, when I specifically have a $75 urgent care copay per my insurance. I didn't notice until it was too late. When they billed my insurance, they billed it as an office visit, which my insurance does not cover entirely. Again, this is an urgent care visit, which my insurance would have covered. I have been in contact with the clinic attempting to have them understand the situation; however, they refuse to rebill it to my insurance saying that they have always billed to any insurance as office visits. This actually crosses the line of false advertising, because they are marketing themselves as an urgent care visit, but they do not bill themselves as such. I have been charged automatically on the credit card that I provided on the date of my visit, and I would like a refund of that amount now, $175.44. I will gladly pay the remaining amount of my urgent care copay, $45, if they rebill to my insurance as urgent care, but I will not stand for them falsely advertising themselves as urgent care and then billing differently and will also be filing a dispute on the credit card for the automatically charged amount after I've been contacting them trying to have them fix the situation.
