Purchased a overpriced cafe (GE) fridge on June 1, 2021. It was finally delivered Jan 29, 2022. Started making weird noises since the first day. Called GE and they sent a technician who couldnt figure it out. Fast forward to May 8, 2022 and it completely stops working. Told by GE that another technician will come out who says that it needs a new compressor. Now everyone has ghosted me. Its May 25, 2022 and I have no working fridge and no idea if/when someone will even fix it. Spent $6600 on this piece of metal that doesnt even do its essential job. And their customer ********************** is beyond horrible as no one knows whats going on. Do not recommend this company to anyone! Save your money!

I have a GE electric range. The stove is a convection oven and regular oven. The stainless steel style appearance are clean, sleek and modern. It also is very handy having 7 burners, all different sizes and used. However, the stove oven is difficult to understand. It did not come with a clear and easy to read how to booklet. The convection **** does not ***** meat. Also and my biggest pet peavey is how many times I have caught my fingernails in the vents on the front of the door. My nails are just to the tip of my fingers so it is not just a matter of cutting them or being too long. Also, any food that happens to spill down the front of the stove goes right into the vents betwwen the outside and inside of the door. This now makes the stove look like you never clean it as it is extremely inconvenient to clean. You have to take the door off and stick something into a little slot on the bottom of the door to clean it. It takes forever working something small back and forth never to really clean it. The glass top also does not go to the edges of the stove top. There is about 3/8th of an inch where it is too small. As a result you get grease collecting in this groove and you need a knife or something small to scrap the gunk out. The Profile went to the edges.

They now make disposable garbage. Bought a dishwasher and the top control panel came off twice , which is near the cost of the whole dishwasher.. Just today after wiping the front of my dishwasher down the handle pieces broke off. Then as I am whiping off the front I noticed the sheet metal in the bottom is ripping! Washes well, but really could you make them any cheaper. I'm about to replace my other appliances, and can't imagine buying anything GE (also ******* is horrible too). I just wish companies made decent appliances, As an auctioneer I'll sell some refrigerators and appliances that are over 20 years old some 40, and they still work and run and look good! Seems pretty obvious that all the companies knew how to build decent equipment 40 years ago, conveniently now they last 2 to 3 years.

Bought a GE convection oven the hang del started peeling so I called GE. I was told there was a special **** that handled this because it was a defect and they replaced the door no charge. In conversation I mentioned its not the smartest idea to have a plastic coated handle on an appliance that sits above the stove and he told me they no longer use the handles with that material. That oven one stopped working only lasted 6 years and I bought a second one. 6 days after the warranty was up the handle started to bubble again. Come to find out its the same c*** plastic handle they said the discontinued using when they replaced my first one a few years prior. I called and they wanted to charge me almost $200. This is absolutely intentional. They use this material to sell an expensive replacement. They know there is a reoccurring issue with it peeling due to heat from the stove and personally told me they were not using it because of the issue yet my second purchase is having the exact same issue. Its deceitful practice and faulty product. I would not buy from them again nor would I recommend to anyone else.

My side by side broke after 2 years, while I was out of town. Two fans went out, so I lost all the food. Even worse, bugs invaded the refrigerator.I spent 8 hours cleaning, disinfecting, and removing the smell. The first tech came out and ordered the parts. The second tech came out to install them, and there were a few bugs left in the refrigerator, and he found more problems with parts. He said the cost of them repairing it would be in excess of the cost of replacement, and he left. Now the are saying the problem was me for having bugs. Of course if you have a refrigerator go out while you are out of town on an extended trip, its going to draw bugs.Additionally, the repair rep pushed items on my counter, knocking them over, and made snarling comments about keeping stiff on the counter.Given I am wheelchair bound, I keep things where I can reach them. He also made discriminatory comments about persons with handicaps.I will never get a ge appliance again, and ******* concierge" is next to worthless.
