I applied for a apartment at the icon Waverly, paid the $200 admin fee. I was denied but they didn't call to tell me I was denied, I found out on my own. I have called and emailed and the property manager about my refund, and one person act like they didn't see that I paid the $200 admin fee. I recieved about a request to have money refunded back but nothing has happen. I emailed receipt showing I paid the $200 admin fee. Still no response nor my $200.Initial Complaint

I signed a lease with Icon Waverly based on the fact that the repairs they stated would be done, would be completed by my move in date. After further inspection the unit was not up to standard and was falling apart looked like they had not even tried to clean up before giving me the keys. I returned and was given the option for a refund, but I also wanted the property management to be aware of the situations they are putting potential residents in.Initial Complaint

I applied to Icon Waverly apartments *** ** 2021. I was under the impression that the administrative fee was refundable. I even spoke with someone named Meagon who told me the administrative fee was refundable. After applying and getting denied, I call Icon Waverly *** *** to get a refund. They give me the phone number to a third party financial team. I call the phone number, everything was smooth. The representative tells me everything is good and should be refunded within the next week. I'm thinking everything is good. A week passes and I attempt to call the Icon Waverly at least 5 times. No answer. Then I decide to e-mail Meagon to find out what was going on and no response. At that point I decide the lookup their policy and I found that fees are refundable, just not outside of 48 hours. Which is fine because I requested mine in 24hrs. I get the feeling that their staff avoids these phone calls so that they can pocket those administrative fees or something. I don't know but it made me feel funny knowing they would not return my call nor e-mails requesting a refund, especially since its time sensitive. If I got someone on the phone today, they'd probably happily tell me the fee is no longer refundable after 48 hours. I need help with this. I even put in a ticket request for help on their website. Mold, every where. When I first moved in mold was in the outside storage room. It slowly moved in door. Also report it when I first moved in with other damages. Later on I found out the mold was in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The apartment people just painted over the mold and more mold growth happens and continued to happen. I reported it many time with no help what so ever.. so I wanted to move out so I signed my lease notice. A new supervisor came in and lost my paper work, when my 90 notice came up. Her assistant made me sign another form cause she lost it. I had no idea it restarts the process all over again. I also wanted to do a walk though and she denied my request. So I hand in my keys and said good bye. I've been calling and leaving messages with no response back what so ever. I also when by to pick up my mail she decided that request as well so I called the police on her to retrieve my mail. I told her this was a Federal crime to with hold someone else's mail.Initial Complaint

Upstairs plumbing to toilet and tub have not been resolved for over 3 weeks and I have to access to a bath tub to wash myself and my family. They have tried to fix the issue but much neglect has happened and no consistent communication has been given in the time frame given to have all the work Completed by September ******* in order for me to complete the payment for rent once the work was completed and I talked with the property manager. Once I visited the office on September ******* I provided pictures to prove the tub was still not functional and my family has been with out a working tub for 3 weeks with absolutely no compensation the entire time of the issue.
