Shortly after Thanksgiving, we called and got an appointment for Mr. Sparky. This is for a simple light installation. The earliest appointment we could get was Monday of this week. When the technicians arrived, an hour late, they told me they could not install the light because I didn’t have a mounting bracket. I asked him is there anything that could be done and they said no. I paid them $139 and was told that that would cover the next visit after I got a new light. I called Savannah and was able to obtain an appointment for today. Today when they came, they put the light up and (that I had to pay $250 for because I couldn’t find a mounting plate anywhere) Mr. Sparky charged us another $230 something dollars. This was not what was agreed to at any point. Who in the world would pay $400 to have a single simple light installed? We were quoted $130 something dollars when we called originally. We didn’t need a diagnosis, we didn’t need anything. There was already a light there with a mounting bracket. This is nothing but a rip off and the firm is a laughing stock. I will do everything I can to make sure that no one I know is further ripped off by this company. I called to complain and spoke with Savannah on the phone and she sounded like she couldn’t care less. This is not the end of this. I will use every platform I have to tell people how bad company this is. You all should be ashamed of yourselves Mr. Sparky. And further, the technician didn’t even wipe off the silver plate that has fingerprints all over right now that cannot be reached without a ladder. Very unprofessional.Business response

We are always concerned when a customer is not happy with our services. We are issuing a full refund of the amount you paid. The payment by credit card has already been refunded back to your credit card that was used for this payment. The payment by check will be refunded in 30 in days. Mr Sparky on the phone said they had a fee to come look at installing a **** outlet in my garage. So I did go ahead and pay $***Mr. Sparky sends an AC mechanic, understandable that he could not do the job. But the impression was that if I agreed to the quote ($***) that the job would be done.Now they want $*** to start the job. So &*** + *** without a single thing done.I was willing to pay and agreed to everything and already paid $*** for the initial quote and also agreed to pay the entire cost the moment a technician shows up. They will not do the job and my $*** is being refused to be refunded my Mr Sparky and companyBusiness response

We returned the funds via the credit card he paid with originally. As always any customer not happy with our services are entitled to a refund of the amount they paid.
