I signed up for a new membership and chose to pay for the year in full. I opted for the black card membership which had tanning and massage benefits. My account was debited for 199.00. The first day I came I tanned which is part of the black card membership. My membership online said black card. Did not have any issues at all. Now today I am being told that I only have a regular membership (doesn’t include additional tanning and massage). My membership login now says classic membership. I was told they would refund my original purchase amt and I would have to resign up and repay to get the black card membership. However my original payment could possibly not be refunded for several weeks. I was told that there was no manager, that they are franchised and he didn’t have the owners name so I could lodge a complaint. I repeatedly asked for a higher ups contact information. After that I told him to cancel my Membership (att. Receipt). Now I have to wait for my refund on a gym membership that was clearly changed by someone without any explanation or my permission.Initial Complaint

I never authorized planet fitness to charge my credit card. They owe me $59.01 in unauthorized and unknown charges.
