I, ******* ********, checked into the Quality Inn and Suites in Augusta, GA, on ***** **, 2023, on official US Government orders. My original check out date was **** **, 2023. On ***** **, 2023, I was charged for the entirety of my stay (95 nights) for $10995.51. On *** *, 2023, I informed the hotel that I was checking out earlier due to a change in my orders. At the time, the front desk told me no problem, and I was told that the credited balance of five nights will be refunded to me when I check out. The day before I was to check out (**** **, 2023), I confirmed again with the General Manager that I will receive the credited amount ($397.29) when I check out the next day (“sometime before noon”). When I arrived back at my residence, approximately 24 hours after checking out (in person) from the hotel, I had not received my credited balance. I contacted the hotel’s corporate customer service, and while they were very responsive, they still have not resolved my issue. To date, I have exchanged 28 emails with them, with no resolution. I’ve also contacted the hotel directly, with no response over email, and telephonic contact results in no resolution, as the front desk keeps referring me to the General Manager, who isn’t there. It’s been almost two weeks since I checked out. Thank you for your assistance. I can elaborate, as needed. I am frustrated by the poor business practices of the hotel, and the hotel should not receive payment for nights that I did not stay. Again, after speaking to the general manager on **** **, 2023, she confirmed that the credited balance will be returned on **** **, 2023. As of writing this has not happened, and all attempts to contact the hotel go unanswered. The hotel's corporate customer service is responsive, but unhelpful, as they continue to refer to the hotel.
