      Auben realty are scammers and they do not care about their tenants. Please do not lease with these people. They are very unprofessional and lacks accountability for their wrong doing and will not fix issues they created. It's because they are scammers. And they will make you pay for everything even when it's their fault.

      Unprofessional and unhelpful. We started having issues as soon as we started asking for help. Maintenance director ms Jenny and our local liaison ms Shannon make little to no attempt at a helpful, polite, or professional conversation when we call. The company has represented itself through these two very poorly to us and we cannot recommend anyone gets mixed up with them. They don’t take any responsibility for messing up and they allow their emotions to control whether or not they are going to help you. It is utterly ridiculous that they are unable to do their job without getting upset just because they have to do it. They’re only good at holding a grudge

      Auben Realty Is Full Of ****, Love To Take The Cheap & Easy Way Out. Plumbing Issues For Almost A Month Now. Toilet's Clog,Now It's Coming Up Through The Tub Again. Maybe If They Sent PROFESSIONAL PLUMBERS Out Here, Instead Of So Called Plumbers. Problem May Have Been Solved By Now. They Never Keep Their Word. But Make Sure To Send Notices For Possible Evictions Or If Your Late To Pay. Oh Their Very Attentive To That. Auben Realty Is Full Of The **** That's In My Front Yard, Toilet's & Tub!

      Mrs. Deirdre Johnson , known as the “experience manager” definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I will never do business with Auben Realty because of her. 12/19 I spoke with her about a property, asked had anyone else applied to this specific property. She reassured me no one had applied as of yet. I applied for the property at 11:18 that morning , called back after applying and received no answer until a couple hours later. I was advised I could go and see the property at 5:45pm that evening. 12/20 I called at 9:02am and asked Ms. Deirdre Johnson If she reviewed my application and she advised me that she was out of the office. Around 11am I received and email that I was approved and maybe 30min later she contacted me with the next steps. Shortly after we got off the phone I paid the $313 “reservation fee” and called her back with no answer again.. she contacted me 2 hours later and stated the property had been rented out… how can you tell a person that they’re approved and receive their payment then call back giving them bad news… that’s definitely bad business and I’m almost certain it’s a race issue. This company has literally ALL of my information from my bank to my social and it’s unfair for her to do others like this as well. I made a post on Facebook tagging the company about what they’ve done to me and to my understanding I’m not the only one!

      It is nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone here. Especially when it's time to resign your lease, nobody will answer for days and then my lease gets "auto renewed" without my approval. They broke their lease agreements and we will be serving them with actionable litigation.

      I am speaking solely on my experience with project management for a rental property I wanted this company to take lead on repairs to ultimately have them manage my rental portfolio. After receiving a competitive bid for renovations, these small projects (drywall work, wallpaper removal in 3 rooms, carpet removal in 1 room, hardwood floor refinishing in 1 room, lighting installs, reglazing tile, tub sealing, and a massive haul off of trash) on a 1490 square foot home took over 8 weeks. I strongly suggest to get in writing dates on the project timeline to alleviate the headaches and unmet expectations I experienced. The selection of subcontractors for the electrical, drywall, and paint portions were horrible. With 2 attempts to correct the imperfections I addressed with the project manager, I still feel dissatisfied. To some 75% satisfaction would be appreciated on a rental property and as the Director of Project Management said "I have home owners expectations and renters will damage your property". Making it clear this company was not a good fit for me. However I try to treat my rental properties with a standard to attract the best tenants. The staff is friendly but their overall communication and execution needs much improvement. As a property owner it concerns me if corners are cut for my requests, how would they treat a tenant. I have heard of all the horror stories working with GCs but I unfortunately had the same lack of attentiveness when working with this large company. Anything I saved in cost, I lost in time and profits.
