      It has been almost 4 1/2 months since ending service with Freeman Gas Blue Ridge GA. Service was terminated on or about Wednesday Nov 3 2021. As of today March 14, they have not picked up their propane tank and refunded to me the approximately 60 to 70 gallons worth of propane gas contained that I have previously paid for. I have called at least 6 times to request they pick up their tank, which has been disconnected and sits next to my driveway. Their response has continually been " they are busy and will get to it when they can". On my last call to them last week, I notified Trish that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB if action was not taken. Apparently that has not motivated them. Hoping you can help. Thank you.       Yearly tank rental/lease charges for our 100 gallon propane tank since 2018 has been $64 with taxes and fees included until this year (2023). Tank rental fee increased 80% to $115.00 since Freeman Gas is now being managed by Superior Plus Propane. We generally use the same amount of gas each year and never use more than 150 gallons for the winter. The first customer service representative informed me that if you use less gas/year the rental fee is higher, if you use more the rental fee is lower. Since we have used about the same each year, I was not sure why there was such a huge increase. The rep told me she could not explain it either since it looked like we did use more gas than in the past. I was told she was emailing our local office in Blue Ridge, Georgia and a supervisor would get back to me. 10 days later, no one did, so I called again. At that time the local rep informed me that the supervisor would call us back with regards to this matter. We left 2 more messages on his voice mail directly and never received a response. I called back 4 days later and requested to speak to a supervisor. He finally came to the phone and abruptly explained the use more, pay less tank rental policy. When I asked him if we used close to the same each year and the tank rental was the same for the last 4 years, how can it just increase 80-90%, he stated that is the policy. He was defensive when I stated that it is interesting since it's a new company manageing them. How is the same 100 gallon tank costing more now than in the last 4 years to manage and maintain? In April, when we had our tank filled, the driver was on his phone the entire 4 min he was there. There was absolutely no safety inspection done. He was too preoccupied on a phone call. So how do you expect your customers to pay more for less?
