My first order of sod from Atlanta Sod Farms was on 10/19/21. I ordered 6 pallets and they were going to deliver three pallets one date and three pallets on another date. Each delivery had its own fee. They gave me a window for my delivery saying it could be the evening before the delivery date or early the next morning. I specifically asked if they would call when they got to my house with the sod so that I could show them where to put the pallets. I was assured they would. I left my phone on all night and never received a phone call. When I got up the next morning, the pallets were left on the side of the road. This was a major safety issue because we live on a county road that has a lot of car traffic and we now had to move the sod in small batches from the road to where we were putting it down. In addition to this, there were about 16 pieces of centipede sod that were only half pieces. I called Atlanta Sod Farms the day of my delivery, 10/20/21, to tell them about all of this. The woman who works in their office apologized, assured me this wouldn't happen again (I was planning to place another order the following week), and said they would have 8 pieces of centipede added to my next order to replace the half pieces I received. None of this was the case and my next order with them was an even worse experience.

2nd delivery was in the early morning hours on 10/27/21. This was the second part of my first order as well as an additional pallet. When I placed this order I was assured again that the delivery driver would call me so I could show him where to place the sod. This time I left all the flood lights on outside my house and had a big sign indicating where the sod should go. I also left my phone on all night. No one called me and when I got up the next morning all the pallets were on the side of the road again. I cannot begin to tell you how angry I was because I was assured this would not happen and now all of my sod is on the side of the road which is a major safety issue as it's a county road with lots of car traffic. I called Atlanta Sod Farms to see if they had someone who could come move it but they didn't. I had to call around to find someone available with a bobcat who could come move the 4 pallets out of the ditch. This cost me $120 more than if the sod company had done what they said they were going to do. I called Atlanta Sod Farms again that afternoon. I informed them about what happened and also that 29 pieces of centipede were full of weeds and that there was a loader bucket full of scraps dumped on the bottom third of one of the ******* pallets. The woman in the office thanked me for letting them know about the sod quality because she said they wouldn't know if customers didn't tell them. She told me to email them pictures and she would talk to her bosses about reimbursing me for the extra expense of having someone move the sod. She said the email account is read by both her boss and the owner of the company. I NEVER heard back from them. I called back multiple times and left messages. One time the woman answered and said she was headed into the office, would talk to her boss and get back to me but, she never did, that was 11/15/21. Since then I have called back 4 times and they no longer answer my calls.
