We contracted this company on 07/15/2020 to build a pool and accompanying drainage and sitework for $89,605. Our backyard was turned into one huge mudpit, and several months of inactivity ensued. When our pool was finally finished, in June of 2021, we have several defects: 1. Drainage installed traps water and breeds mosquitoes instead of actually draining water. 2. Pool cleaning system, for which we paid $5,500 extra, does not work. It has never worked, and it's now apparent that Ron ******, the owner knew that initially and has made no attempt to fix it. 3. As a consequence of having an entirely red clay backyard for 6 months, we paid $4,491.50 to have our interior floors buffed and cleaned to remove orange stains. 4. Spa jets do not work. We paid $10,500 extra for the spa. 5. *** never showed up for a final walk-through, so we have no idea how to control the machinery and maintain the pool. 6. *** has been completely unresponsive, disruptive to our work and use of the pool/yard.Business response

I acknowledge the comlaint. I am trying to resolve this issue with the in-floor circulation system. I have been slow in communication but still keeping in touch. During this covid time and an all time busiest time in the industry, the subs that installed the circulation are extremely busy and the maintenance company taking care of pool in the beginning loss employees and didnt notify me they stopped maintaining pool. We are still going through a process of have not abandoned Mr and ********************.

The issue has not been resolved. Artisan Pools finally contacted us after we launched this complaint, but it has been another several weeks without resolution and more lack of response. We broke down and bought our own portable pool cleaner as a make-shift solution to try to keep our pool clean until the pool is actually fixed. The bigger issue at this moment is that the water is not circulating correctly, and our yard has been overtaken by mosquitos, in part because of the lack of pool circulation and also because of standing water in drains around the pool that were installed by Artisan Pools. At this point we've heard every excuse in the book from the owner, but no swift action or communication to fix the problems.Business response
