I purchased a lifetime license for their product and now the developer has reneged on the agreement and wants to charge an annual fee. I want a refund or the original terms to be upheld.Initial Complaint

Paid the company many years ago for a lifetime subscription to the newest version of their software for Windows PC's. Recently, without notification, mine and many other long term users like myself lost access to this directory that houses the program in question. Many, like me, thought they had a computer problem and struggled for a while trying to correct it. I eventually turned to the user group area of ********************** and found out that the changed the terms of our original agreement and blocked us from the new program unless we paid a yearly subscription price, Freezing us at the last version we had acquired.Initial Complaint

In June 2015 I bought lifetime access to a Windows app (MCEbuddy) including all updates to that app. Roughly one week ago I received a notification by email that I would no longer have **************** updates unless I paid a recurring subscription fee. I and several others have complained to the developer on his support forum but he hasn't responded.Initial Complaint

This company has been selling lifetime licenses to customers for years and have recently decided to revoke those licenses and demand a subscription to continue receiving updates.Many users have already complained on their forums, but the company refuses to honor their already sold licenses.
