Paid over 11k but they FAILED TO DELIVER Buyer beware Building can be stressful, especially when working with lenders, inspectors, schedules, etc., which is why it was very important to me that Great Buy Cabinets said they would deliver in 3-4 weeks. When I initially called Great Buy Cabinets, the person I spoke with was friendly and helpful. I later corresponded with ***** who did the design for my cabinets and island. He was very helpful and responded quickly when revisions were requested. The digital rendering looked great! I was given a quote soon afterwards and an estimated delivery time of 3-4 weeks. So far I was very happy with interactions as well as the price. At week 4, I had not received further communication from Great Buy Cabinets so I called to inquire about ***. I was told to wait a week and call again if I hadn’t received an email with shipping info. I called after week 5 and was told that my order was being processed and should ship in approximately one week. Ten days go by with no communication so I call again. This time I’m told the order’s about to be wrapped up and shipped, possibly early the following week. Another 10 days go by and I inquire via email, they say they’ll look into it and get back to me. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. After week 9 I’m disappointed that the company is not responding to emails. I call again wondering if I’ll get a similar reply, but now I hear something new: “unfortunately, we use about nine different suppliers and there’s no way for us to know when the orders will complete, we can only see that they’re scheduled…”. The lack of responsiveness seems to show that disappointing customers is business as usual at GBC. I let them know I’m seeking quotes from other companies and that I would need a refund if no shipping time frame could be committed to. They didn’t refuse a refund, instead they said the accountant would get back to me… I’d still like to receive the order, but the delay is causing many issues!
