***** has been working at my house since September. I gave him most of my husband's clothing since he passed away 9/20/22. He removed many items from my home with my permission, most of which said he would sell and apply to the labor (around $1,000). Also, he took a laptop that he said he would pay $200 for. He has completed only three projects which were 1 barn door installation, a laundry cabinet installation and a front door lock. The second barn door is still in the box. He has not completed the hall bathtub, toilet and sink installation. He has the granite that I paid for. He turned off the water and said he would return in an hour. He returned the next day around 10:30. I had to go the convenience store twice to use the restroom. I could not make any coffee. The kitchen back splash is incomplete. Removing the excess grout on the tile floor is incomplete. The dishwasher installation problem has not been corrected. I had to go to ******* in October for my husband's memorial service and I allowed him to continue to work on the house. When I got home, he said everything in the fridge was ruined because the power "went off". The next day I called the power company and found there was "no outage". He threw out over $500 of food. I told him that later I wanted to change the master tub to a shower with a bench. I did not have the money to do it then. I talked to him while in ******* and he brought up the master bath. I reminded him that I was not ready to do that. He said "I've already removed the tub". He broke the bathroom scale & put it under the sink. He moved everything from the porch to outside to apply epoxy. It's all outside & has been for a month. I have paid over $12,000 and been living in this mess. Wanted me to send him $100 for gas to get from ********* to *** ****** (33 miles). One toilet, no tub, small shower with no seat. He is very unreliable. Just shows up when ever he wants. Always has issues with truck or wife. Skips days at a time.
