My child’s elbow was by a teacher at this daycare. Manager and directors claimed they had no idea how it happened, after looking at footage. That’s already an issue bc if my child gets hurt while in your care, you need to be able to tell me how. I go to look at the footage this morning, where it shows a teacher pulling and picking him up by his arm. When I see this the manager states “that was an accident” but y’all don’t know how it happened right? They knew very well what happened but were attempting to cover themselves in hopes I wouldn’t investigate myself. This was the first and last time my child will ever step foot back in a daycare.

On Monday, October 16th, 2023 the parent (**** ********) picked up her child as normal. They left the center with no complaints, The child was not crying we had no reason to believe anything was wrong. Later Miss Fletcher calls the center stating something was wrong with her child and she's taking him to the ER and was upset because we had not broght this to her attention; however, there was nothing to bring to her attention., The child left in her care fine,. Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 Miss Fletcher called and spoke to me-Pat Sanders (Director) explained the ER diagnosed the child with Nursemaid Elbow and that this happens very easily without force and can happen when falling. We both agreed that since she has lost trust in our Center the child should not return. On Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 Miss Flecther returned to the Center Irate, Unruley and Rude, demanding to see the camera recording of what happened Mondy afternoon. Since the Director was unavailable the manager played the recording for her to view. After watching the recording she insisted there was negligence and the teacher was at fault. Three (3) law enforcement officers for the City of Cairo viewed the recording as well, they agreed there was no Negligence and the teacher was not at fault. Miss Fletcher was ask to leave by the Officers and ask not to return to the Center since she has no further business with us.

My child was crying from the point I arrived, to the time I left. So much so, I asked the teacher figure if had gotten hurt or not. A mama knows the meaning behind her babies cries. I know it was his arm the second I put him in the car seat. I left and called bc getting my child taken care of was more important to me. I left and immediately went to the ER. Yes I got irate. You, Nicole, and Ashley told me you guys had no clue how it happened. And when I saw the footage of your teacher (the one that is still employed by you, I might add) snatch my child and then pick him up by the same arm, Ashley says “that was an accident Evea”. Well Pat, which is it?? You don’t know what happened or it was an accident?? Bc if I could spot the “accident” in two seconds then all three of you combined would’ve seen it and had given me the truth. Don’t feel too proud about the police taking your side. Word is that they actively avoid doing their job. Just like the three of you do, which was to keep my child safe and hold your teachers accountable for their actions. Continue to lie if you wish, I can go at this all day.
