    I inquired about an insurance policy on ******* *** 2023 with Southern Harvest. Although my agent was out of town/ range, I was still being serviced by Southern Harvest based *** ** ******** **. All information that was requested and required to purchase auto insurance was given. I received the policy with no issues and nothing else was requested when PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED. My agent even called me back a week later and asked if there were any issues with the policy and to my knowledge there wasn't none, so I responded that there were not any issues. The same week my agent contacted me, there was mail sent out , dated ******2023, that that there would be a cancellation as of ******2023. I called the InsCo and it was stated that I didn't provide proof of address, which was not requested but address was given! It is common for letters to take 7-10 business days to be mailed and received, hence why I received the letter during the weekend *****/2023 after business hours. Therefore, my policy was cancelled after two weeks of having the policy. I called consistently between Southern Harvest and Excepsure (agents, finance, underwriting, customer service, etc.) to inquire about the courtesy of them being responsible for any fees associated with cancellation or reinstating. Southern Harvest instead, wanted to rewrite the policy and require me to put down an ADDITIONAL payment when they have failed to notify me in a timely manner or when they called that my policy would be cancelled for underwriting reasons. That would've been over $500 given due to rates changing daily! I was promised call- backs from both Southern Harvest and Excepsure and they have failed to do so. Southern Harvest agent also intentionally disconnected the call and have a tendency to discuss personal matters over business calls which probably explains the missing link with not properly transferring information. They said a check would be mailed out, again failed to do so!
