This company deserves No Star and is Strategically Scamming people, Falsely booting and Overcharging for the boot removal. I have called several times and left a voicemail each time to follow up on the dispute I filed online. It has been over 30 days and I have yet to get a response or returned call. My receipt and picture to support my claim were uploaded to the original dispute. So, please do not respond to this message asking for a receipt when it was submitted with the original dispute. The correspondence to each complaint appears to be a defaulted message. The customer service is really bad and unacceptable!Boot Man, Inc. Response

The receipts uploaded with the dispute show parking was not paid for ************* but for a different location. Parking tickets are not transferable. No refund is due.Review from Kristen B

Our car was parked in the large parking lot on ********************* in *********** and went to the *********** App to pay for our parking. We paid $20 for 2 hours of parking and left the aquarium early with our kids to make sure we arrived back at the car with time left. We had 14minutes left on our parking and we had a boot on our car. We took a screen grab of the time left and quickly called the Boot Man Inc to explain there must be an error. We then realized we had an error on the *********** app with our tag number. The car description was correct, we had keys to our car and proof that we had paid and had time left. We were told it didn't matter and that we had to not only pay to have the boot removed but that we were also going to have to pay for 24hour parking. Again, we never denied making a mistake, however to be able to prove it was a mistake and that we had paid for our parking and had time left. In fact, the boot removal guy acknowledged we had paid and even removed the $20 parking rate we had paid from the 24hour parking charge added to the boot removal charge. Admitting he knew and acknowledged we had in fact paid for parking in that spot. This is simply taking advantage of a simple error for financial gain and a bad business practice.Boot Man, Inc. They steal your money!! I paid using their app and since I was driving a rental vehicle I made sure to add that vehicle. I proceeded to check out and made sure the rentals plate was still showing. I paid and then proceeded to a tour that I had. When I came back, the rental had a boot. I called the company and a guy showed up and said I had the wrong plate number. He then proceeded to tell me he would credit me $5 and only charge me $95 to take off the boot. Even when I showed him I paid, still had 7 hours remaining, and that the rental car was added and then switched. His manager wouldnt even speak to me. They literally stole my money and left me no choice but to pay him. Not to mention, when I called the local police ( They couldnt help b/c its a private company) the dispatch said, I dont know why they keep doing this. She was referring to this specific company. This is NOT okay and is a way of robbing people b/c they have no choice but to pay to remove the boot even though they have proof of paying for parking. The tour guide said the company was even putting boots on cars that parked over a parking spot line b/c they Took up two spots which according to the guide was not true. It was just another way for this company to rob people.Boot Man, Inc. Response

The worst ever. I wish I could leave zero starts. Their employees record their customers when they are taking boots off and record them without their consent. Someone forwarded me a video of myself when their employee took their boot off my car. The account is @alpha_bipolar and there are many videos of other customers where their license plate , card and face are visible. This is unacceptable and uncalled for. I am beyond upset and will be perusing higher actions.Boot Man, Inc. Response

Awful experience. I paid for parking as I do everyday at the lot on ************* in *******, *****. The machine ran out of paper so I was not able to display the ticket in my window. I come out to my car booted. The enforcer cited me for failure to display my parking ticket. How can I display my ticket when the machine ran out of paper. The dude who came to take off the boot said he checks license plates but couldnt find mine in the system. But after I showed him my car he admitted mistake. This is ridiculous. This occurred on 3/6/2024.Review from Alexs S

******************** (******) ******* ** should not be employed in a job that deals with working with the public. I admitted to him I parked illegally and was willing to pay for the boot. This man kept yelling insults about how he is tired if having to deal with you criminals. ****, always thinking yall could do whatever you all want. I repeated multiple times that i was willing to pay the $130 to remove the boot and he didnt need to continue to insult me. Handed my card over, which he used to make the payment. Instead of giving me the receipt and removing the boot. He threatens me with towing my vehicle. Even after he took the payment. Worst experience of my life.Boot Man, Inc. Response

There employees are THIEVES. Your employee with the STUTTERING problem. STOLE our purses out of our truck. We TRACKED him from our other phone, caught him at another parking a lot going through the purses. We dinged our phone I guess it must've startled him. He left and went back to where we were originally parked to " return our stuff that he said he found on the ground". Not knowing we were following him the whole time and watched him in that parking lot. We have it all on video. GAVE THE ***** TO THE POLICE!!!Boot Man, Inc. Response

Its unfortunate that your vehicle was broken into. As we previously discussed on the phone, our employees did not break into your vehicle. The employees simply found your purse and was unsure what to do with it. He decided the best bet was to leave it with the business across the street from the parking lot where it was found.II believe "thank you" would be more appropriate than assumptions and false accusationsReview from Brandon Y

I had a terrible experience with getting my car booted in *********** around the convention center. I parked in the ******************** Sunday and Monday. Monday afternoon I came out of my conference to find my car had been booted. The agent then tells me its because I left the lot. I tell him that I did leave Sunday but I paid again for Monday. He does not believe me even though I have a receipt. I then have to get on the phone with his manager. His manager is again claiming that I left the lot and returned. After arguing for about 10 minutes they finally remove the boot when they understand I paid for Sunday and Monday. This company is an absolute scam and will boot your car because they are too incompetent to realize that youve paid for parking for two days.Boot Man, Inc. Response
