      My contractor hired the Newsouth Landscapes to do the boulder wall for my home. They did the horrible job and I thought they did not finished yet. I thought that was the temporary job they did before completing the house. I spoke with my project manager and asked about when they will finish the boulder wall. He mentioned that it finished already like this and it looks like abandoned. It already fell down one time and the Newsouth had to come out and re-do it. But it still looks horrible with all those gaps. I told my contractor to get the money back from the Newsouth. My contractor contacted and spoke with **** but they will not gave us any money back. The Newsouth are scammers and I hope no one has to confront this situations.

      Anker Custom Homes hired us to build this wall last year and the construction was completed and billed on 6/10/2023. We have heard of no complaints of the quality of the wall thereafter until two weeks ago when ***** with ***** Custom Homes contacted us to ask for a full refund for the wall. I explained that this was unreasonable, especially since almost 12 months has transpired since the work was completed. I suggested to ***** that we instead offer a full landscape installation on the home as it is nearing completion and ready for a full install. We have done numerous homes in the neighborhood all which meet or exceed client expectations and architectural review board standards. We priced out the provided plan from ***** for the landscape portion of the project for Lot 199 and within this estimate I provided a credit of $5000 as well as bearing the expense of fully removing and disposing of the current wall so a different wall could be constructed in its place. Unfortunately our offer was refused and no further communication has been made until we received a request from BBB.

      Thanks for getting the response from the Newsouth Landscaping company.

      How can I believe the Newsouth and giving them a job again since they messed up twice already.  As I mentioned before, they did horrible job as you can see on the attached pictures. Their superior job (that's what they mentioned their job) already fall down and the Newsouth had to came out fixed it again. For all this time, I thought it was temporary job as processing of building the house and holding the side wall for temporary. When I heard few weeks ago that it was completely finished job. I was shocked and disappointed at my contractor (Anker Home). The Anker Home hired this Newsouth and let them get away with this inferior job. I told ************** to get the money back for me from the Newsouth. I do not want any more job involved with the Newsouth. I want my money back. Thanks.

      I believe the largest struggle here is between you and the builder. The builder is my customer during this transaction as we have never had any interaction until you were dissatisfied with the answers you were receiving and reported us unfairly to the BBB without any prior direct contact. 

      Secondly, if you truly believe the wall was temporary as you are claiming then there is zero issue here. The wall was installed and signed off by the builder. If you truly believe it was temporary then it would be torn out and replaced anyway. No stance for a refund on a temporary wall. Beyond that your request for a full refund is beyond our company policy as the work was completed 11 months before a issue surfaced. 

      *******, I am sorry for your dissatisfaction but this issue lies with your builders ethics and conduct standards. The work was approved by on site supervisor of Anker Construction, otherwise we would have never received payment for the installation.

      I am rejecting this response because: you are clearly can see your superior jobs. I asked other landscape company, construction companies and all agreed that you did horrible job. If you do not want give a full refund then I asked at least half refund. Otherwise, i have to take other actions.

      No other action can be taken here. I offered you a fair and reasonable accommodation which you turned down. I offered a 50% credit for the wall and a free removal of the wall, exactly what you are asking for. I am sorry you are disappointed but if you are unwilling to take our offer there is simply nothing else I can do for you. This is outside of our refund policy time as well as our warranty period. 

      Again, this work was approved and signed off by your builder. Otherwise we would not have been paid for the work.

      because your work, you are fired from the builder. I do not want to hire you again for the horrible job you are doing. If you do not want to solve this issue, I have no choice other than legal actions. I guess we will see you at the court.
