      I bought a used vehicle for ***** dollars yes I bought as is but it did not last bit 3 days and the transmission went out a 6-8 thousand dollar repair I did not check the trans fluid because I trusted there word the vehicle had no problems when I did check it after it started malfunctioning the fluid is black and smells burnt I find it hard to believe they never looked at it being truck experts and advertise as having no problems something that cost that much should last longer than three days and all that should be checked b4 they send it out the door advertised as having no. Problems the truck had a light twitch all the way home on the 4 hour ride it was just consistently doin it I thought it was just down shifting alot due to oversized tires but I was informed by the transmission shop it was a shutter in the transmission and the big tires cover it up until it gets as drastic as it is now to where it is very apparent what the problem is I let them know they said there was nothing they could do I feel like I got ripped off reading there reviews this has happened several times I like the people there they were very nice to me but this is very bad business if you knowingly send a truck with problems out the door I really wish we could come to a resolution on this very unfair to me!!

      We offer all of our customers a wide range of warranty options. Options range anywhere from 3 months of coverage starting the day you purchase or a 4 year unlimited mile warranty. We discuss those prices and options thoroughly with every customer including you. You declined all warranties and doing so accept all risk. We hate this problem occurred but thats why we stress purchasing a warranty.

      I purchased a truck from this dealership in Aug of this yr, which was not safe, the brakes were worn so badly, that the mechanic said it could not be driven without replacement. We had to drive the truck home 4.5 not knowing it wasn't safe. The dealership was notified & denied doing a safety inspection, he said he just drove it down the ********* seemed fine. I requested for him to spilt to cost of the brake job, $1200.00 he never spoke to me again. There were also issues with glo plugs which he was aware of & neglected to inform us, causing the truck to misfire on the drive home. One of his excuses were that he was young & in a new business, that is no excuse. He is literally buying trucks & turning around & selling them for a profit without even running any inspections on them. His name is ***********************.

      We're sorry to hear of your grandson's issues with his truck. Being a used truck with over ******* miles, it's not a perfect truck, but we do the best we can to fix issues that we see need fixing. We test the vehicles' running abilities by driving them and abide by the law when it comes to ensuring the vehicles' safety. However, we have no way of knowing all of the issues that come with every used truck we get, which is why we sell our trucks as is- as disclosed in the multiple agreements that were signed. (See attached). When it comes to the glow plug issues, we told your grandson (the purchaser of the truck) about the ones that needed to be replaced and purchased them for him with the understanding that he would take care of replacing them.

      My son purchased a **** f 250 from them was told good running truck within 24 hours transmission is messing up. Tried reaching out to them with no luck. Would not purchase anything from them

      The truck that was sold was nearly 20 years old with over 200k miles. It ran and drove perfectly fine while we had the truck. Obviously the truck ran fine when your son test drove the truck. I think the more likely scenario is that your teenager son was abusing the truck after purchase and created a problem. Im sorry this happened but again we sell all our vehicles as is with an optional purchased warranty. You and your son were aware of these terms, as it is stated in the paperwork you signed.

      This place sells vehicles with known issues without disclosing these issues to the customer. I was sold a diesel truck that they said was inspected and all components tested and in proper working condition (Certified preowned). After a couple weeks at most the turbo failed and the shop that repaired it showed me all of the oil build up inside of the intercooler and piping indicating that the turbo seals had been leaking for quite a while. After reaching out to platinum motorsports llc about the issue i was pushed away, ignored and denied any form of compensation, fast forward some months i had been losing coolant with no leaks anywhere (failed head gasket indicator), then the motor locked down due to it being water locked after the headgasket completely failed. Again i reached out to platinum motorsports where i was cussed at, threatened and denied anything then ignored again which forced me to finance another vehicle due to extreme cost of having the head gasket repaired ($8k for just the head gasket, not including any additional repairs). Platinum motorsports are scammers only worried about selling the junk that they buy from auctions, yes auctions which i didnt find out until months later because they had it in writing that it was certified preowned trade in. These people do not deserve to be in business.

      We're sorry to hear of your troubles. While we do sell trade-ins and take in vehicles sold from individuals, we get many of our trucks on auction as most dealers often do, and we don't hide that. If you have somewhere in your paperwork that says this was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, please show us, because we have never advertised or sold a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. With that being said, it is impossible to certify a 13 year old truck with ******* miles. **** of the issues you described are often caused by how a vehicle is treated by its owner, and judging by the amount of time after purchase, there is no way of knowing if the issue began before or after your truck left our lot. Regardless, our trucks are sold as-is, which is specified in 3 different places in our contract and made known to you at the time of purchase.
