I contacted the company due to issues with my heater. The receptionist told me they would come out and clean my ignition sensor and it would be $110. Upon giving me the copy of the work order I did not see indication that the sensor had been cleaned, the technician just informed me that I needed a board, I was a bit confused but still provided the gentleman with my debit card in his hand to write down my card number for the payment. I inspected the unit myself and I noticed wires were cut and I was curious as to what all was done. I got a call from them later that day and apparently the tech wrote the card number wrong. At this time I did ask what was actually done…the receptionist went to get the tech and we were disconnected. The next time I talked to them they were threatening to send me to collections. I gave my card to tech I did nothing wrong but prior to correcting the info I wanted to know what was done b/c it wasn’t clear what I was paying $110 for. Sam Hewitt the owner came to the phone and began yelling that I did not want to pay him, I explained that simply wanted to know what was done…was the sensor cleaned? A simple answer would have fixed this issue and I was prepared to give the corrections b/c I see where the tech missed a number. The rudeness however changed the mood. I am willing to pay but I want to know what I am paying for, there is no outline of what the tech did to fix my unit. Previous years my sensor was cleaned and I had heat within minutes. I gave the tech my info in his hand either his handwriting was bad or he missed a number but I gave my info.Business response

First off Mr. ******** said that the secretary told him that the flame sensor may need to be cleaned. My secretary did tell Mr. ******** that it could be something as simple as the flame sensor needing cleaned. However my secretary is not a service technician and therefore should not be held accountable for suggesting that it might be the problem. As far as wires being cut my technician did not cut anything.. These units are pre-wired and some wires are cut from the factory. The flame sensor was not the problem. My technicican did diagnosis that the unit needed a control board and proving switch. Mr. ******** said he would call us back when he got ready to make the necessary repairs. My service technician did write Mr. ******** card number down wrong. My secretary called Mr. ******** several times to get the correct card number to pay for services rendered but to no avail. I regret that I lost my temper with Mr. ******** but I stand behind my service technician on the diagnosis of the unit.
