I would not recommend living here if you are looking at this property. I moved in **** of 2023 and my issues with this property began in December of 2023. I was wrongfully charged late fees multiple times, have been charged renters insurance fees multiple times despite providing proof of having my own insurance from an outside company. The air conditioning unit has broken four times since April 2024. Thankfully, after a multitude of emails and phone calls, we were refunded the wrongful charges, but we are still charged insurance fees and have to contact them each month to get the amount credited towards our next month's rent. Regarding the air conditioning unit, the first two times were handled in a timely manner; however, the third took a week to be repaired and the most recent time it broke was 11 days ago. Our apartment has exceeded 90 degrees for days on end, causing us to relocate ourselves and our pets for the fourth time since living here. After days of trying to get ahold of maintenance or the property manager, we were finally told that they were working on it and that the maintenance personnel was having an emergency. However, that was over a week ago and it is still broken. They have told us three times now that someone else would be coming to fix it and it would be fixed by the end of the day or the next morning. It is still not fixed and no one has come to check anything. We were told they would work on it over the weekend, and so far no one has. The office is very difficult to get ahold of. Its hours state that it is open from 9am-5pm, but I have only found someone in the office during those times once. Phone calls and emails are rarely answered, and when they are it feels like I am being told whatever it takes to get me off the phone. I requested information on how to terminate the lease early so that I can find somewhere reliable and safe for me and my pets and was ignored. The lack of communication, availability, and honesty is extremely frustrating.
