My wife and I ordered a $9,649.80USD sectional from La-Z-Boy on ********21. Fast forward to today and the order still has not been completed as ordered. The delivery date got pushed back over 5 times until delivery finally occurred on *****2023, over 1 year later. The sectional that was delivered has one section that is not the correct inside material. La-Z-Boy was immediately notified of this and sent out a team member to evaluate. They told us this would be fixed and a new section would be sent to us. It is now ****23. 494 days have elapsed since the order was placed. La-Z-Boy has not contacted us since to update us or provide any explanation. We have not received the updated piece for the sectional. We have contacted La-Z-Boy numerous times, each time requesting an update and an order summary, and have not been given any actionable information or any paper trail at all of this order. We have not been able to utilize our sectional as desired yet and the item was ordered 494 days ago, which we feel is unacceptable. We are seeking completion of the job and a significant reduction in the price of the sectional. Thank you for your time.Business response

This order was delayed unfortunately due to supply issues during the Covid period and he was notified on the estimated ship times. Our office manager did keep him updated during this time as we had two pieces of the sectional were not completed at the same time as the rest of the sectional. I have attached email communications. The order was finally received complete on ******** 4 and we reached out the same day to let Mr. ******** know we were ready to schedule his delivery. He told us that he was in the middle of a painting project and needed us to hold his order for a few more weeks and we accommodated that request. We reached out again in ******** to attempt to schedule the delivery. The delivery was completed on ******* 7. Im not exactly sure of the date that we were notified of the issue but we conducted a service call on ******** 1. The correct seat was ordered directly and unfortunately the order is past due because of a cover delay. According to La Z Boy we should expect the part to come in before the end of this month and we will prioritize this to complete it. While we hate the this took so long these delays were out of our control as well as the manufacturer's. Regarding his discount request, I believe that he was offered a discount directly from La Z Boy as he placed his order online not thru our store. Sorry for the delayed response. This email went to my spam folder and was flagged as such.
