A couple christmases ago they tricked my parents into buying a membership (which we didn't have the money for) by making them believe not only that it was cheaper than a gift card for a single massage, but that they could cancel free of charge at any time. Lie. You're locked in for a certain number of months if you purchase a membership from ME. Because of this horrific policy and them literally manipulating my parents not to mention the ***** massages with cold oil and no pressure I will NEVER give them another chance. They cancelled the membership AFTER A WHOLE FIGHT and a threat to take it to a lawyer, but no refund for the two months they caused my family to struggle financially after claiming they'd cancel it and then not doing so. We didn't find out til month three that the company has a no cancellation policy.

I am very sorry **. ******* was unhappy with her experience with Massage Envy. I am sorry her parents did not understand the explanation of how our pricing and membership work presented to them in 12/2018. The paperwork that was signed by the clients clearly states the membership and the cancellation policy. We offer customized sessions and have lots of Licensed Massage Therapist in order to meet the needs of each client. Some people like a more relaxing massage and others prefer a deeper, firm pressure. Our therapist ask during the session if the pressure is good and are very receptive to any changes requested. I understand that there are certain therapists that better suit each person's needs and I am sorry you did not find one you liked. I know one of the therapists you had is known for his firm pressure. In researching your membership it looks like you joined in 12/2018 with your first payment on 1/08/2019. You made 5 of the 12 payments per your contract and the 5th one was refunded and your membership was canceled. Again, I am sorry you were not happy with your experience with Massage Envy, I wish this would have been brought to my attention sooner and maybe we could have made the experience a better one for you.
