1 star just so i can get the complaint posted. They are a Towing company . Not a tag and title office. They should release a person car if they have proof of ownership and the money to pay for fees. It doesn't matter if the car is registered or have insurance. They use this tatic to accumulate storing fees to the point that the owner can't afford to get the vehicle out. In doing so they lable the car "Abandoned " They need to be investigated to see how many cars they possess using this tatic due to car owners couldn't afford to get they vehicle out.

Thank you for for your feedback. In order to understand the nature of your concern, we would need more information. Generally speaking, if a vehicle is stored on our yard, we must verify proof of ownership to ensure we are releasing a vehicle to its rightful owner. Please give us a call so that we can further assist you. Again, thank you for your feedback.

These people are monsters. The 5 star reviews are all fiction. Don't buy their lies. They will hold your vehicle hostage while they claim it is all for your benefit. Actually, it is just a shakedown for more money. Please do not ever do business with these people because you will definitely regret it and you will pay for it with your money, time, and aggravation. I've never written a review about anybody good or bad, but I felt I had to warn consumers about these horrible people.

After the driver arrives, you should take photos and videos of you car as it is loaded and strapped to the trailer. Pay particular attention to how it’s towed onto the trailer and how and where on/under the car it is strapped down. Take photos of all the components under the car, paying particular attention to such things as the rear sway bar. Make sure no straps, chains, etc. are attached to these components. I should have done this, but I didn’t. $1000+ lesson learned.

The people were nice but not very helpful in explaining anything. They towed my mom's truck which was totaled because they have city contract. When we went to sign forms, I specifically asked the lady if signing the form allowed the insurance company to take the vehicle and she said no it only allowed them to look at the vehicle to provide an estimate. Well, when we went to get something from the truck, we found out they did use the form to allow the ins company to move the truck to a tow yard in another city. Then my mom received a notice from Griffin and Griffin threatening to impound the vehicle when they already let ins take it. When my mom called to see what needed to be done they said she had to come sign forms to release it yet they had already let ins company take it. They are quite disorganized and their technology is antiquated If you use them don't trust what they tell you and make sure you read everything carefully. This lady assured me and 3 other people with me that the form did not release the vehicle yet it did. Then they released it without the form being notarized. Recommend you just be careful.

Thank you for your inquiry. Your concern is important to us. We were able to review this ticket:
After reviewing your ticket, the system shows that the form was timely signed on 6/6/22. It sounds like the letter that your mother may have received is a standard letter that is automatically mailed and generated to customers as per Georgia law we are required to notify the owner regarding the status of their vehicle. The letter was most likely mailed prior to your last visit. Once the letter is mailed, we have no way of stopping it from being delivered to a customer. Therefore, we do understand the frustration and potential confusion caused from the letter. We strive to make the customer experience one that is orderly. Thank you for the opportunity to provide an explanation and we appreciate your feedback.
