            Date of Service 11-30-2023 Amount Paid $430 The business provided moving services on 11/30. They moved my belongings and one of my TVs we damaged and will not worked . I discovered this on 12/3 when I tried to cut the tv on. . No contract was provided to me . I reached out to the moving company on 12/4 and advised them of the matter the response back was Good morning, unfortunately claims are to be made with in 24/hr of completion of service. Other wise we are not liable. Also we have never damaged a tv doing moving service. I replied back to them as followed : Im sorry but thats absurd .Where does it state this ? I never received a contract . And I hear what you are saying but there is a first time for everything. But no worries Ill file a complaint through DOT and Better Business Bureau. As stated above I never received a contract . Or was this mentioned to me until ****

            I'm indirectly affected by this moving company American Major Movers. I'll start with why they were in my home.My friend who was staying with me hired them through recommendation however they turned out to be a nightmare. The owner is one of the worst business owners that I've ever met. He came into my home without being careful and took paint off the corner entry wall without acknowledging the damage not just the hall but the baseboards were scratched in the bedroom that he was moving furniture from. now this would not have been so bad if I hadn't already spent $$$ recently on having my interior painted, as my home is currently under contract.The owner decided not to apologize and acted like nothing happened absolutely not taking an ounce of responsibility.I would warn anyone seeking a professional moving company not to choose this one, Again the disregard, disrespect and lack of responsibility was more than I cared to deal with.
