I filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy with debt stoppers in 2019. I wanted to fix my credit and get my life back on track. Unfortunately not only did debt stoppers not take ANYTHING off my credit. Everything came back and now not only do I have everything that was supposed to be in a chapter 7 bankruptcy still in my credit but the bankruptcy itself as well. Plus there are a lot of added things due my abusive husband and a divorce. My credit will NEVER be good again. And now Im hopeless as to having good credit! I want this fixed immediately! Or give me back the money I spent on the bankruptcy if you cant fix my credit like you said you would!Initial Complaint

*** contacted them on serval occasions for answer to questions I have pertaining to my case and how Im disappointed in the services I have received for the $4,000 fee I paid them. I have emailed the owner via the trustee advice and still no response. I asked how a company could add charges to my bankruptcy at almost the completion of it and that they werent on my original creditor list to be paid and Att ************************* pretty much told me be glad Im only paying 10 percent as a co-signer when I was told when I file that I had no more financial obligations to the vehicle at all. Then when I fell on bad times financially after not missing a payment for over 4 years I was put under more stress by them constantly telling me I had to bring it correct or face my case being dismissed even after telling them I had to move due to mold infestation in the apartment where I was. They offered no solutions, so when I got mad and asked what did I pay them $4,000 for thats when the got only $300 of the $1,700 I was behind put asideInitial Complaint

I have called and email this business several times requesting that the attorney who is handling my case contract me which i still haven't received a phone call as of today, my emails have been ignored and the attorney still haven't called. The paralegal *************************** is very unprofessional. I have requested a copy of my car lease agreement from her which she has chosen to ignore my email requesting this information. The person who calls to process payments is very rude and nasty as well. I received no education on the bankruptcy process from this law firm. I only heard from the attorney once when it was time to process the initial payment to start the process now it's very difficult to contract anyone from the office even after updating the office with my new number, I dent recommend from anyone to use this company. I have still been receiving bills from creditors that was added to my bankruptcy the law firm never mailed them the notice. The *** being one of the creditors. I never received the notice by mail myself of my discharge date. my case has been handling poorly which has caused me to be emotionally stressed.Initial Complaint

Hi I filed chaoter7 in Aug 2021 and Discharged November 2021. Thru DebtStoppers. I had 2 vehicles one with co signer that Debt stopper told me I woukd not be responsible fir that vehicle they lied. I called ***************** lien holder and they said it is no eay to remive my liability from that car. This is the main reason I fiked Chapter 7 is to get out of this and not get a repo on my credit. I am a senior and should not have to go thru this. I paid them to take care of this.
