      Ordered a part early in April that I was charged for. They said it was shipped. Called on several occasions around a month later after not receiving the part and struggled to get ahold of anyone. After finally talking to someone, I was told they would look into it. After two more weeks on not hearing anything I called back and they still didnt have an answer for me. Called back another week later to get told they cant do anything about it because the problem is out of their wheelhouse.

      and should receive sometime next week. Also apologized for the delay and have sent ****************** an email with my contact info so i can personally assist him with his next parts

      order and extend a discount. In our phone conversation today he thanked us for the phone call and the help we have offered.

      On May 7th 2021 I ordered a set (4) Wheel Opening Moldings for my 1970 Oldsmobile 442. I'm not sure when they came but I probably got them within (90) days or so. The problem is I just got my car back from the Body Shop a few weeks ago and when I went to install the moldings, I found that I have gotten (2) Left Front Moldings and no Right Front Molding. For over a week now I have made (5) phone calls and sent at least (2) emails as instructed. to the company website in an effort to exchange (1) extra Left Front Molding for (1) Right Front Molding. Every time I call, I'm told that they will "Red Flag" or "Expedite" the issue and someone will return my calls or emails. On todays attempt to resolve the issue I was told by **** that there is no manager around and she will send them another notice. The reason for the delay in noticing the issue is restoring an old car can take years and in my case the car was in a body shop for over a year. Also just because you order a part from a company like Year One doesn't mean it will come in a timely fashion, I have waited for (6) months or more for some items so you order way before you need some items and just put them away until you need them . When you deal with companies like Year One you know you are paying a premium price and you would like some kind of customer service when you need it.

      As of today (04/03/24) at 1:20pm YearOne has now spoken with Mr. ************************* and updated him as a replacement front right wheel molding was ordered directly from the manufacture

      on 3/27/24 and shipped out to him on 03/29/24. By the *** tracking number this package will be delivered by 04/05/24, offered the tracking number to ***** during our phone

      conversation but he didn't want but did thank us for the phone call and update. YearOne suggest to all our customers to always check your orders once received and confirm you have received the correct parts.

      I purchased an entire door panel set and seat cover set for my car from Year One on April 18 2023. I received the seat cover set on October 26, 2023 but was told nothing further about my door panels. I have been in contact with Year One multiple times through out the past year and was assured it was being tracked and the manufacturer was being contacted for updates, but that the manufacturer kept pushing the release date back (6 months at a time) due to no parts. In January (January 26 2024) I was in contact with a customer service employee at ********************** that stated my item was supposed to be released at the end of January and be out for delivery. I asked on February 5, 2024 when I had not heard anything back, for a status update and was told that it would be another 6 months again before I would receive my product. I called the manufacturer directly today March 7, 2024 after I had not heard any other updates to ask some questions and was told that Year One never placed my order for my door panel set until March 1, 2024. The person at the manufacturer was very helpful and broke it down showing my order was never submitted at all, the only order showing at my original order date was my seat cover set and that the panel order was not put in until this year and that yes it would now be another 6 months out. This is not how a major corporation should be handling business. I have had a car waiting for repairs/ upgrades for a year now due to Year One not doing their job. I think its completely unacceptable and they have me stuck because there is nothing I can do now but have to wait even longer. Horrible way to run a business, if I ran my shop the way they are running their business I would not have any customers.

      Hello, 

      As of this date (03/15/24) YearOne has been in contact with the manufacture that produces the door panel set ****************** has on order with us.

      Currently the manufacture does not have the materials to produce these door panels, nor do they have a time frame on when they will receive these materials. 

      We will be contacting ****************** on Monday 3/18/24 and first to apologize for our mistake with his order of the door panel set and then offer a discount if he would like to keep this order open with us or we can cancel his order and provide a full refund for the door panel set.

      As of today 2/15/24 at 3:15PM EST, I have called this customer ( *****************) @ phone # ************ and left a voice message with our phone number and my direct phone extension so i can speak with *** and find out what the part problem is. I have also tried to send this customer an email this date to the email address listed under his account, but it comes back as undeliverable (************************* ) .

      We will continue to try and contact *** so we can address his part problem.

      We ordered a wood bed kit for our truck on October 25, 2023, Yearone collected the money from our account on November 1, and the estimated ship time was from 1-4 weeks. We had called multiple times and this person ***** finally emailed with a very short response saying may ship around mid December. They took our money and we have no evidence they are processing our order. Worst customer service ever. We purchased a lot from Yearone several years ago, evidently they have gone down hill.

We will fulfill your order as quickly as we can and appreciate your patience.) 

      With every order placed on our website an email is sent to the customer confirming the order, the email address ****************** has listed in this complaint is the same listed in his account with **********************. We were never told prior to *********** and continuous email inquires to this person ***** that we were referred to that this order would be delayed.       I ordered a part # SB47 from Yearone on order # HN5488 on 7/11/23. The amount of $16.92 was charged to my card on 7/12/23. There was no indication of a backorder status on this part so I assumed it would be shipped the following day. I was informed on the invoice Email that I would receive an email when the part shipped. To date, 7/19/23, I have not received any communication from Yearone. I have tried calling 3 times only to sit on hold for 45 minutes. I have sent an email to their sales ***** And no response to the email. I am waiting for this part to finish a job. At this time, I would like Yearone to cancel my order and refund the full amount to my card. I cannot wait for this any longer and will go elsewhere. This is not good customer service.

I`ve got a mail with a *** tracking number and a message that says the order has been shipped. That`s the last I`ve heard from Yearone.       I ordered auto body parts off there website on April 22 2023. I received and invoice for $884.86 for the parts and $205.00 for shipping. I then received a notice on April 26 2023 that my shipping would be $752.00, an extra $547.00 on top of what I already paid. I disputed this with them and my order was immediately canceled. I called and spoke with *********************, and told her I did not want to cancel my order, and wanted my parts shipped at the cost that was on my original invoice. I explained what had happed as well as on there site, they specify delivery charges at $170.00. I backed that up with proof of this sent to her in an e-mail. **** then told me she would look into it, took down my phone number, and said she would call me back and let me know something the next day. that was Wednesday April 26 2023. since then I have emailed her several times and called and left her several messages to her direct line, and have received no response. I have the paper work from them saying $205.00 shipping, and after I paid, they changed it to try to get another $547 out of me. I am sure I am not the only one this has happened to. to me this is false advertising or bait and switch.?

      This is an unfortunate misunderstanding on the customers side. First off, we never charged the customer a dime. The communications where all based on order quotes. We sent the customer a confirmation stating as such.

      The customer also replied that he wanted to cancel the order and we did.

      Order Date 4/14/22 Order Number HK2058 Part Ordered **** Cutlass Headliner Six Bow Assembled Black Part # PH368100B6 Received 5/1/22 It was wrong. Instead, I received Five Bow Unassembled. After speaking w/ customer service and being told they would send the correct item once I returned the incorrect one. Sent incorrect item back sometime in June. Spoke to customer service over the ************ confirmed they had received the part back sometime after that. It is now 10/3/22 and I have not received anything.. I have tried contacting them by phone multiple times and have not received any solution. This part was for a job I am doing for someone else, so it is not only hindering me but my customer now thinks less of me due to the amount of time his car has been stuck in my garage.

      I ordered a part from year one muscle car parts on August 26 2022.Part number BG75 positive battery cable Order number HL3365. $194.22 They sent me an email confirming my order. When I ordered the part they said it was in stock.After 2 weeks I tried to call them for an update, they put me on hold and after 45 minutes on hold I gave up. I have called them 4 times and always the same they will not answer calls. So I decided to email them, I have emailed them 3 times they will not respond. The last email I sent I asked why they wont answer the phone, got no response. I looked them up on yelp and there is all kinds of complaints like mine.They are taking orders and money from people and cant fill them.I just want my money back Sincerely *********************************

      Sorry to hear of customers issue. I looked at his order and indeed it is on back order and a hard to get part. I do not see any record of correspondence from the customer. We have cancelled the order and issued the customer a full refund.
