Dear Office, ************************* of "**** 24hr Plumbing" working out of ****************************************************************************, was hired to replumb the entire house located at ***************************************************************** for $7025.************ was to replace the existing polybutylene with PEX piping from the meter to the full house. On December 14th, 2023 ************ was paid $1100 from my ( ***********************) credit card for materials prior to the start of the job on December 19th, 2023. ************ was given 3 other $2000 payments on the 20th, 21st and 22 of 2023 from *******************. ************ said he had completed the job on December 21st.I spoke to ************ each day he was on the job, voicing some concerns about the way some of the work seemed not be be done correctly; ie Plumbing Code and ********************** installation requirements. ************ assured me he had 15 years experience and he knew best.I was diagnosed with Covid December 20th which explained why I felt so poorly since the December 17th. I notified ************ of my covid diagnosis on the 20th. I could only show to open and close the house. I didn't really get to look over the job until December 27th. At this time I realized the scope of what had and had not been done. On January 4, 2023 I put in a dispute for the $1100. January 5th I realized the letter of no confidence sent to ************ on January 2nd did not deliver.I now began contacting other plumbing contractors to evaluate the work ************ did at **** Kennersly-Close.I now had 3 different plumbing contractor evaluations of what ************ had done. Even the master plumbers confirmed that ************ not only did sloppy work but many things were not up to Plumbing Code. I also found that ************ did not complete the job.************ was emailed an offer to settle this, however he has not responded.
