On 7/11/2022 I took my dog (*****) into have a surgery to remove a mass I was aware how much it would cost.7/12/2022 I called because she was oozing and they just said to keep her patched up 7/13/2022 I continued to do as they said 7/14/2022 I called because my mother and I took a look at her wound and saw that she had a small opening in so I took her in and they said that it was from dead skin and was probably infected and prescribed me medication not closing the wound or putting in a drainage tube.7/15/2022 I called because she was oozing much more and was concerned, when I got there they still refused to close it up because they said closing it up would trap the infection in and at this time it was closer to the size of a quarter. They had charged me again but this time for anxiety medication. At my wits end and not knowing what to do as something seemed off I took her to another clinic when talking to the vet tech a ***** from this hospital fell out undamaged. The new clinic didn't know why they did what they did, so the new clinic sedated, cleaned, removed anything they needed to, and put in 2 drainage tubes. The new clinic says that the stitches were too tight and that they didn't put in a drainage tube for it so between the skin stretched to tightly and fluid build up something had to give and it was her skin.$35.43 - Antibiotics $40.33 - Anxiety medication $591.04 - For the new clinic to correct and fix the problem Vickery chose to not do anything when my dog was in pain and suffering when we brought up these concerns to them.I don't care about the medication cost but the $591.04 I would like as compensation for me having to take my dog to another vet to get her taken care of.

I wish to retract my complaint, as the company and I have have found a fair middle ground.
