      Do not ever take a vehicle to Billy Howell **** for service. Service Engine Now light came on after having repeated misfires and having spark plugs changed. I normally avoid dealership service center but called and told them situation and dropped vehicle immediately on a Thursday night. They explained they probably couldnt diagnose it until the following Monday. No call on Monday so I called and was told it hadnt been diagnosed yet. Called Tuesday morning and nonchalantly told engine had been ordered for my car. I said someone needed to discuss this with me. Given Service Advisors name and left voicemail. No call back so left second message later in the day. Wednesday left message if not contacted by 11:00 would contact Manager of ******************* No call back so voicemail and email to Service Manager. Did receive call from him but was told my expectations should have been set when I dropped the car. Apparently its acceptable to keep a car for a week and not reach out to owner. He goes on to explain coolant leaked into engine, replacement covered under extended warranty, will take 5-6 weeks to replace and I have 10 days rental coverage and will need to pay out of pocket after that. He was helpful in getting rental arranged. Took rental back after 10 days and when asked about status of my car, it was obviously a major bother for person in service department to check on it. I came home and contacted **** **************** and told them how I had been treated. **** is paying for my ********** and we are 65 days in and Ive heard from Service Advisor once. It was to tell me heater hose had dry rot and did I want it replaced to tune of approximately $125. Ive been treated horribly from **************** perspective and you cant shell out $125 as goodwill gesture. We are now ****************************** shop and **** **************** (who has been awesome) reporting they are not getting return calls when they leave messages. Unbelievable

      Total lack of commitment to their customers.This is very disappointing! On 8/9/23 I had my 2012 F-150 King ***** picked up at my home for repairs at Billi Howell ***** The pickup experience was nice and impressed me. POC ******************* acknowledge turck receipt and request to diagnose engine light and research various other electrical issues. I would expect this to take some time. On 08//11 I called **** 3 times and wasn't able to reach him. On 08/14 **** said they were waiting on a parts and that they could do about the camera, which was on back-order for over a year. I asked for service maintenance and got a high quote. On 08/16, still nothing from ****, I went ~4:30pm and was told that **** was already gone. No one else could give me a status. On 08/17 I called and left **** a message. No call! Called again twice before he answered. He now said they were still researching and hard to find issues on these "older" models - it will take some time. Hoping to have the truck by now. He then tells me that the technician was out with the Flu and a new technician would work on it on Monday (08/21).So far **** provided no communication, just a horrible customer experience! Tuesday (08/22) morning, NO feedback Bill Howell **** should be ashamed of the low level of customer satisfaction. And as expected 11am - no call from ****. I finally got hold of him and he said "Call you in a couple minutes". 15/20 minutes later I called service number and left message to have my truck ready for pick up in about 45 mins. He now calls to tell me about all the electric sensors the technician identified as faulty and cost close to $800 to fix. I got there; they sent a kid to get my truck. ... some 20 mins later they are still looking form the truck. I walk around and found my truck, they were jump starting it. I just got on it and left. This raised to a level of incompetency I have never seen before!

      ***********************, Service Director, spoke to **** this morning. Her Escape was brought in on 11/16/23 for a misfire concern. Due too workload at that time the vehicle was diagnosed on 11/22/23 with coolant intrusion. ***** spoke with her on 11/22/23 and explained that the reair would 5-6 weeks based on parts supply chain constraints. **** *** approved a short block replacement. Once the engine was received it was replaced. Once reassembled it was determined that the cylinder head would also need replacement. (They will only approve repairs in this manner) ESP was contacted again, they approved the cylinder head replacement. Once the cylinder head was replaced it was determined that it also needed the exhaust side camshaft; this *** have been damaged by the coolant intrusion. **** has no camshafts. **** (Parts Director) has attempted to source one from outside suppliers/used ones and unabale to locate one. The customer has been in contact with **** customer care, and they have extended her loaner until this can be resolved. **** maximun rental coverage is normally 10 days. Her frustration is that she has not heard from **** in weeks. **** had been in direct contact with **** every couple of days. ***** gave her his direct contact information. ***** and **** have been trying to locate a local dealer that *** have a cylinder or head core that we can borrow a camshaft for until **** can supply us one and get the car back to her to drive. ***** also told her we would take care of the $125 hose that ESP would not cover. Our goal is always to return the clients vehicle to them as soon as posible in mechanically excellent operting condition.

      Do NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I would give zero stars if possible. I have been dealing with several issues that they caused and are refusing to take care of. I may have to take legal action due to their irresponsible and shady tactics. I purchased a vehicle from Billy Howell **** and got a ticket 2 weeks later from an officer informing me my windows and windshield are illegally tinted. The fact that the tint was illegal was never once disclosed and they still sold me the vehicle with illegal parts. Not to mention, when I purchased the car they took it in the back to take off the stickers and whoever did so, tore the windshield tint. It still had sticker residue from where he scraped it off and the salesman told me they are not responsible for it. The salesman originally tried telling me they took off money for that, but I quickly reminded him that he repeatedly told us the car had a "no-haggle price." He obviously knew he was wrong and apologized, saying he did in fact state that. I argued with him for a while only for us to still disagree that they should be responsible for fixing the tint. The salesman shared the contact info for a window tinting shop down the road from them but they expect me to foot the bill. I will go to get it priced and come back with the quote for the dealership to handle. If you (the dealer) read this before I get there, have your manager ready because this is NOT how you do business and you should NEVER treat a customer this way (especially when you sell them a car that is illegal on the road without disclosing it, only to refuse to fix the issue). Hands down the WORST car buying experience I have ever dealt with. They have lost any of my future business and all the business of those in my circle, along with their friends as well. I did not want to leave a nasty review, but I have given them ample opportunities to make this right before making it difficult for everyone. Sad to share they have poor and deceiving service.

      Spent 4 $4,000 on brakes, rotors and many other things. Drove back to *** in ****** and loud noises and vibrations at ***** mph. Took it back as soon as I had break in school. Dealer could not find any problem and was told everything was ok.Drove back to ***, same problem. Took it to a local mechanic in ******* as soon as I had break in school. He said the rotors were warped and under warranty needed to be replaced.Took it back to Billy Howell immediately with this information. They could not find any problem and was told everything was ok. After several debates and arguments with insistence they look again, they looked again. This time they came back with yes the Rotors are warped but not under warranty because caliber was sticking. This time it would cost me another $1,200 to get fixed.Local mechanic said based on his inspection that there was no way this was correct, that Billy Howell was trying to get out of replacing rotors that were under warranty.

      My husband took my car to he service center for and oil change. We had a drop off appointment at 8:15AM. When dropping off he told the rep ***** about my rear backup camera not working literally said to her "it hasn't been working since we changed the battery. If the is a quick fix let me know. If not don't worry about it". Quote for service was $75.00. Around 1:30PM we called the check on the car since there had been no communication. We got ***** again. She said it wasn't ready she would check and let us know. Well ***** never got back to us. We called again around 5:00PM. ***** again, she told my husband they could seem to figure out what was wrong with the camera, she would check again and call him right back. My husband said well don't worry about the camera we're not to worried about it. ***** called at 5:30 (1st communication from her all day) she let us know that camera would cost around $800 to fix and we declined the repair. When eating dinner we got the invoice for the repair. They charged up a $169 fee to look that the camera. We had no idea, we're never told and never would have approved. I called ***** to find out why we had that charge and we're told nothing about it. But had to leave a message. I received no return call. We have always received text communication about our cars and cost of service (new tire is $$$ yes or no - need this cost $$$ yes or no) in the past but we got not a peep. I was so angry we had to wait to pick up the car the next morning. When I picked it up the very young kid who checked me out told me that was there diagnostic charge and I should have been told up front. I said that we were NOT told and should be charged and he said there was nothing he could do. So I ending up paying almost $300 for a Oil change. I feel like I have been cheated and scammed. We have purchased all of our vehicles from Billy Howell **** over the years. Taken the to the service center for every repair. No More.

      Completely unacceptable. Management should fired. I purchased an F350 at a different dealer but this one was close to my house. About 8 months later it completely stopped working, they said it had lots of rust and needed around 5k of parts. I had the bumper to bumper warranty and paid around 45k for this truck. It's been sitting in their service shop for around 6 weeks now and still not fixed. They literally only have 1 diesel mechanic and he got sick with Covid so all their diesel trucks are just sitting there not getting service. How on earth management can only have 1 diesel mechanic for such a large inventory is beyond me. This is just completely absurd. I basically forgot I had a truck at this point and just making payments for nothing. They won't provide me with a loaner either. If I didn't have another car I'd be completely screwed and would have to be paying for my own rental, despite just buying it less than 8 months ago. DO NOT BUY A DIESEL IF YOU PLAN TO GET IT SERVICES AT THIS LOCATION. YOU WILL BE OUT OF A TRUCK FOR MONTHS if it breaks.

      Truck has been here for 56 days. Main issues was parts delays, these delays are affecting all industries and are not going to be resolved soon. We have more than one diesel mechanic, however the one that was missed work was assigned to your vehicle and we were not able to reschedule the other techs to perform the repair. As I am sure you are aware, the truck is currently being worked on

      I'm really not sure why you are filing the complaint on us, have you considered the person that sold you a vehicle that had so much rust and corrosion? Did you have the vehicle inspected, the rust and corrosion should have been pretty obvious. I am sure with it being $45k truck you did have it inspected.
