My local Burger King in ******, ** on ************* has been providing illeghible receipts for drive through and counter purchases for the last 18 months. I have called the local restaurant about this issue and written them about it. They have failed to respond in every instance. I have complained to Burger King's ************************************ on 3 occasions and they have failed to address the issue with the restaurant. I have sent 2 letters with copies of illegible receipts to the President of Burger King at **** ***********, *****, ** ***** and in each instance he has ignored my complaint and failed to respond. Providing an illegible receipt creates two problems: 1. It is impossible to determine how much you were charged for your order. 2. Burger King offers an incentive to complete a customer satisfaction survey with details printed on the back of the receipt. But completing it requires entering the restaurant information and survey code that is unreadable on the illegible receipt.I am sure this also violates state law that requires readable receipts for retail purchases. This issue has gone on too long without a solution. I am hopingt that calling this problem to the attention of the BBB will get Burger King to behave like a reputable business.
